This Sunday at Alpine

hey JhoNas nojahsnas jonahassss.....PSYACHE..

Jonahs, will you be maintaing the jumps on roundhouse and or adding any rails or other features off of round house? Maybe even a nice lil flat rail

if you reaaallly wanted people to spell your name right then your user name wouldnt be a word scramble......... whats the new set up? that battle ship sounded fun/crazy. are you participating in the terrain park crew drinking challenge on saturday?

Today was pretty good, all things considered. Two little jumps and a couple flat/down/flat-down boxes are all that remain. Sad to see the jumps on roo up but unhittable.

Jonahs, why would management be pissed if you groomed them? Also if you could put up a nice mellow rail or two it would be much appreciated, with a little room for spinning on/off. Thanks for keeping a bunch of stuff up as the season winds down.

The new set up will go:

\ 24' left banked up box

-32' up box --- 25' elevated tube

/24' right banked up box

Hopefully that makes sence. All three boxes will lead to a gap, to the elevated tube. It's something we've never seen and we're hoping it will be really cool.

Yes, Alpine park crew will be in representing at the rodeo how down.

Nohajs was a nickname givin to me by high school friends that couldn't spell my name. I don't really care. People have been getting it wrong my whole life.

Well grooming costs money in labor, diesel, and cat hours. It would also require day staff to maintain. That is money they don't want to spend.

I'm going to leave red green going for a couple more days, but I have to take everything down before the weekend. I've got to have everything wrapped up before Sunday, so I can't put up anything else. Sorry, but everything is being moved off the hill in the next couple of days.

Someday they might understand how important park is to the kids. If you can find a way to voice your opinions in a constructive manner, maybe next year they will think differently.

Unfortunately that is not likely to happen.

These "kids" are the ones that advocate poaching the hill and stealing food from the cafeteria, at best they get the price of a season pass out of us and that is it.

I am not ragging on anyone, I have poached hills before in the past too.......just saying it for what it is.

Once park riders realize their best hope is contributing to the economics of the hill, it may change, until then I am quite sure the park budget is a loss to the hill every single season and we are lucky for what we have.

Could be wrong, I dont have numbers to back it up but I am quite sure all of the money is in the tourists that pay for food and day tickets and ride the roundhouse all day.

This is why I am a big proponent of a park pass, the idea of 50 bucks a year to convince management to build bigger better parks is worth it several times over.

Good year Jonahs, way to make the most of it.

I would pay an extra 50 for a park pass, if most of it went back into the park. No gapers, more funds to the park, not a whole lot of scrilla, its win-win.

Where is the comp feature going to be? Will you be able to hit it with some speed and gap over the tube?
