sorry for such an odd first post

im thinkin about driving over an hour tomorrow to pick this up. ive already talked to the guy and i feel like for 500$ its a deal that cant be beat. but something doesnt seem right to me here have a look at the ad which he took down when i told him id buy. my main question is why would you custom paint such a good looking bike white?

Cheap 2004 Cannondale F800. This awesome mountain bike is in excellent conditions and just got its full maintenance service at the shop last month. It also has few custom modifications that makes it very unique. Selling it for $550 but it can be NEGOTIABLE!!!.

probibly stolen i wouldnt doubt itdoes that affect you?probibly not, as long as our driving to buy it and no one will catch you you should be fine
 
almost positive its stolen. this is what you do, ask him for the serial number of the bike, if he doesnt give it to you or stops communicating, that bike was lifted off a fellow rider.
 
its deff stolen, noone sells bikes on craigslist

if they do....and they're decent bikes, most likely stolen
 
my guess was that its stolen. i think ill ask him for a reciept or serial # fo warranty reasons and see what says

now, should this stop me from buying the bike? i think not but let me know your oppinions
 
that's why you gotta bring food and drinks and just chill at the top for a while before bombing down.
 
Buy, but make sure you get all of his information so just in case it was stolen you would have a person to tell the police in investigate.
 
i was just trying to sell a dirt bike on craigslist and a buyer tryed to scam me, now she's gonna get fucked by the law.
