Could be a overreaction but.....
This winter my friends and I put a ton of work into filming webisodes. One of the main goals was to get some exposure for our hometown Kimberley B.C. and the riders coming out of the area.
A really good friend of mine comes out from Nova Scotia every year, he filmed with us for most of our webisodes. His buddies back home (Nova Scotia) asked if it was okay if they used some of our shots in their movie they were making. I was completely fine with it until now.
I saw their teaser today and was stoked on it. I went to their website (http://www.stepforwardmovie.com) and was browsing through the 'about' section.
"Step forward is a ski/snowboard film featuring a crew of riders who hail entirely from Nova Scotia""Filmed, Directed, and Produced entirely by Greg Allen and Matt Inkpen"
I wasn't going to say anything, but the "entirely" is a bit too much for me. Although in the teaser there are only 2 of our shots, I just think taking full credit for our work is ridiculous. I didn't expect my name to be listed as a filmer, but saying "entirely" is basically saying that they did our work, it's saying I didn't get my ski passed taken away for a week cause I was filming in a closed area so we could get a few more shots to finish our webisode and it's basically saying we're from Nova Scotia. All I want from them is a bit of credit to the hard work of our crew, even it just has something about some shots being Kimberley riders. It's nothing personal against them, they are trying to do the same thing we are, get some deserved exposure.
This could be stupid thread over a stupid couple shots but I don't really care, I just felt like I needed to say this.
