This just doesn't add up

SIR FRANCIS BACON: 172, 178, 184, 190, cm. $650

Shorty version: 145, 155, 160 cm. $350

At the worst deal you would be paying $300 more for 12 extra cm. do you guys think that the shorty is made from drastically worse material to make up for the low price, or just a good deal?

The shorty is a kids ski. It might be okay to ride them if you're short and light enough, but if you aren't it's a complete waste of money because you'll have really unsuitable ski.

this, if it wasnt priced remotely competitive with other kids skis it would never sell.

Less materials=Less money

More material=More money

Also the competitive pricing is spot on as well. And 12 cm can be bigger than you think at times. Thats like if line had the 172 and 184 with no in between length, which sounds ridiculous.
