With Magnus (and some other dudes like peyben and lsm), I don’t really fuck with 80% of their Instagram stuff. But since the other 20% of their gram and most of their segments are straight bangers I’ll put up with it
 
People who follow proper ski ettiequte are "in the right" no matter how big there mittens are or how goofy they might look while riding.

The real question is:

How you gonna make a whole ass hate thread on a perfectly happy skier and NOT have a single clip on your page demonstrating to us how one should properly be enjoying there day of skiing?!?!?!?! To be fair you can basically equate magnus’s skiing to future spins at this point but instead of doing too many rotations it’s nollie shifties

Magnus can ski however he wants but I’ve stopped bothering to watch his insta stories or posts cause I can pretty much guess what it’s going to be at this point

I think that post is mostly a joke, idk why everyone is taking it so seriously. I don't really understand why people feel the need to complain about skiing content they don't like. Nobody is forcing you to watch ski videos, nobody is forcing you to wear track pants. If you don't like it just don't watch it. If what you like is afterbang and baggy clothes, there are plenty of edits from 5-10 years ago you can watch. If what you like is the craziest spins and flips, you can watch a competition.

mik d does butters in royalty and people have been saying "less rotations more style" since the beginning of newschool skiing, so I would argue those two things are a big part of the foundation of the sport

I made a edit with my friends back in the day (none of us were all that great) but we spent all day making jumps and filming! we were so excited for the damn thing to upload. I even stayed up til 5 am just bcs youtube hadn't posted it yet... you know what the first comment read "Trash, you guys ruined the song by using it" what's the FUCKIN point of a comment like that? it made me feel like I wasn't welcome in my own house when I read it!! SHIT HURTED :(... I wanted my friend to take the video down and just delete it. I wondered: Do people really hate me ??

You must not follow skating, because all I see amongst the young kids locally is the really baggy highwater (sometimes cord) pants, tucked in shirts and dumb hats skating really wide boards trying to do slappies, no complies, and really quick slappy shuvs after landing.

Exactly this, Magnus puts out some weird creative shit on insta, I can't say that I fuck with it 100% of the time but whatever. When he drops full parts, though, that shit is fire. Same with Peyben, his insta is weird sometimes but his L1 part this year was an all-time banger. These dudes are pushing style and sometimes it doesn't work but when it does it's shit that's never been seen before.
