Broke my tail so I just screwed a piece of wood that was left over from building a deck. Held up for two days on it so far and hasnt cracked or anything and was hoping it would get me through this season? Kinda thinking my core is going to rot before and the whole ski is going to snap though.

opinions?
 
that is steeze at its finest my friend. just go legit hardcore ghetto gangst and rock it just like it is with pieces in all four spots just for show. dont paint them or anything and get screws to intentionally stick out. you will be my god

my friend did almost the exact same thing a few years back, but i think it just for like one day at a preseason rail jam. good luck lol
 
That's awesome! You should definitely put a similar sized block on the other tail though to keep it consistent!

Also...aren't those the '04-'05 STLs in 176?
 
yeah theyre STLs in 183 haha so far they've lasted two days without and problems, sometimes my other ski get stuck on the block when i hit rails but its not too bad
 
nah, cores broken the whole way through, edges are broken, no more side wall. only thing that was holding the ski together was the base and it was starting to tear
