1. I play Tapes, CDs, vinyl when at home

2. Haven't bought video games since the turn of the century i.e. N-64

3. Most of my collected skate / ski videos are VHS

4. Still ride one of those early 2000's 40lb bmx race frames

5. I sometimes use my Birdhouse Falcon lll

its not to say that i dont have iphone new bmx's Dhs or decks

Sometimes it's just nice to use things that used to be awesome

Anyone else like that?/

I don't think vinyl is obsolete. CD's and cassetes are though.

I also rock the N64, although my room mate has a gameboy

by gameboy I meant game cube. and apparently it's actually a wii that just can play game cube games

i still have a pair of old ass shoes from like 2007 that i still slip into when i need to run outside for a quick sec. of all the shoes i own currently and are in way better shape (and just as easy to slip into), for some reason it's my default to toss on these pieces of shit that are falling apart.

People seem to ask why I wear a watch every day when you can just check your phone.

1. Its faster

2. Checking your phone can be seen as rude/unprofessional

3. Stylish

Dont see why watches are seen as outdated by some people

I've had the same pair of shoes (some wool lined vans slip on's) since 7th grade, and I'm a sophomore in college right now, so for like 7 years now. They stay at home but I still wear them all the time around the house when I'm back

-flip phone

Gameboy Advance, my dad's and grandpa's old ties, which I guess can't be outdated. VHS, I guess CD's are considered outdated, vinyl, a victrola.

I wear a watch every day

I prefer to call people rather than text

Up until recently, all of my cars have had a manual transmission (ohhh how I love my DSG though)

I occasionally buy CDs to listen to them in my car

I still get magazine subscriptions in the mail

my car is a 96 and has absolutely no safety features other than airbags and seat belts

i prefer supernintendo, gamecube, gameboy, etc. to newer consoles.

i still wear a sweater that i wore in the fifth grade

i use my iphone 3 as an ipod

I've got a chromed out, heavy as shit 1988 gt vertigo bmx i cruise about on. I could get a new bmx but i like the classic look of it. I agree with the watch comment although ive a nixon newton so doesnt exactly look like a watch but its an effort to check my phone for the time. I love playing pokemon yellow on my gameboy. Got a paper subscription to powder, love it.

Yes! My buddy has a board from the 80s that we ride every once in a while. 30 year old bearings that work just as good as mine. I got my uncle's old board that's from some time around the 70's. It's actually a piece of wood with roller skate wheels. Now that's obsolete.

not really "obsolete" but old..

raichle boots!

look zr bindings

I use an ipod mini skiing/skating. things indestructible- if only its battery lasted.

i still use the original xbox, I have a 20 year old sub that still bumps and a pair of old bookshelfs. I listen to vinyl and use a film camera sometimes. I also use old film lenses with my dslr using an adapter.

I love buying CDs.

And up until a year ago, I used a cast iron skillet to toast my bread and a pot to boil water for tea (as opposed to a kettle)

I also enjoy pens, paper and books - as opposed to typing, and ebooks.

I'm a pilot and prefer to do all my navigation by hand rather than using a flight planning program or a gps if I have time. Makes me feel like Christopher fucking Columbus and shit

I enjoy playing Gnarshmallow more than Shredsauce. I still haven't figured out all of the shredsauce controls.
