Things to do in L.A.

I'm going to L.A. to see my sista in mid august and I have never been to L.A. except Disneyland.
She has to work 2 of the 5 days I'll be there so i'm gonna go explore those days and I need some things to do and/or see while there.

Help me out NS!
 
there's a street in LA called Olvera which is super Mexican and kinda cool if you go when its really busy (before or after a dodgers game). Check out Hollywood, go to the beachespecially Santa Monica and Venice beach area. Venice beach is full of hippy's and stoner's selling crappy things they made but its really cool to see. Thats about it from what i remember. Theres universal studios and other parks like knotsbury but you can figure that out for yourself. Also i probably messed up some of this info so double check it.
 
Go to Compton wearing all red and throw up this:

and then shout that you hate black people.
 
drugs, beeches but watch out for hypodermic needles in the sand, shop at their ridiculously overpriced stores, and sit in traffic because they dont use trains and have horrible public transportation.
 
I actually really like LA, alot of the strips have that awesome 50's feel.

I'd say it depends what you like to do, theres tons of sweet places to get new clothes and music. ANd you can get some good deals, I got a kidrobot 51/50 hat for like 13$ at their store. and then theres the bathin apes store which is just redic and a must to see. they have a 20 foot tall pair of jeans
