Things to do in hawaii

so my family is thinking of going to maui on spring break this year and this will probably be my last free vacation in my life seeing how i'm moving out soon and i was wondering what are some fun things to do in maui?

any of you have been to maui??

if so, or you know people who have what are things to do?
 
If you can, I would suggest going fishing. If you can't I would just suggest going out ant walking along the beach. My brother saw some sea turtles chillen on the beach one time he went to Hawaii. Not sure what island he went to though.

Where in Maui are you staying? I would highly recommend staying on the north shore near Paia since it's way less built up and touristy. There're some awesome restaurants in Paia, notably a really good flatbread pizza place. From Paia you can drive East on Hana Hwy which is a beautiful winding road along the coast through rain forest that takes a couple hours into a really cool old town. There're lots of places to stop along the way and check out, it's super cool.

Other than that I'd say go drive up the volcano and check out the farm country up there. Completely different from the rest of Maui and awesome. The volcano crater itself is kinda cool too, but it's mainly the land going up it that I thought was coolest.

I was there mostly to go kitesurfing so i didn't do a ton of exploring, but those 2 things are great to do when you get bored of just checking out new beaches. The nice thing about the north shore is that you don't have resorts every half mile, so the beaches aren't ruined by huge hotels

For the love of God go snorkeling, make sure to bring your own snorkel and goggles too. If your hotel is on the beach (as most are) you can literally just swim out to sea with your snorkel on and snorkel right outside of your hotel. This is what I did after the day's event when my family went to Hawaii. Another good idea is a Luau, the food is phenomenal.

Surf, no doubt. Also, go diving or snorkeling at molokini. Easily one of the coolest things I have ever done

oh and no trip to maui is complete without jumping black rock
 
My partner landed in Maui last night - she's there for three weeks. I've never been there myself but I started looking at cool stuff for her to check out while she was there and man there are some cool spots on that island. Waterfalls, swimming holes, beaches, hike around the volcano, check out Jaws, lots of cool hikes and awesome geography/geology. Do it all!

I walked to wendy's there once. It's was awesome. Would definitely recommend. Great service, free wi fi, clean seats, a proportionate amount of condiments on each of my burgers.

I would go again. Hawaii is great
 
If you like sushi I would suggest getting a fishing boat and go trolling (not the NS kind), then proceed to eat raw fish, maybe bring some rice and Sriracha, I don't know what ever floats your boat.

Last time I was in Hawaii I was about 9, and my sleep schedule was all sorts of fucked up when I arrived there. I would wake up about 2 hours before all the pools opened, and I would just play Runescape for a few hours before starting my day. Wasn't a bad life for a 4th grader...
 
Hana!! Best place for sure in Maui. Super fun drive there, great surfing if your good and super cool fresh water pools. There's also great cliff jumping. You can rent capins for super cheap too.
