i am looking into to purchasing some UHMW and was wondering if 1/4 is a good thickness. Also, does this slide as well as HDPE or better. And do you just screw the screws a little lower than the topsheet its self so you dont catch?

+k for any answers

I think 1/4 should be okay. I am not sure how it slides to be completely honest with you. Make sure when putting it onto the box you put plywood underneither to prevent any cracking. And yes you want to counter sink the screws. You will have to be careful with such thin topsheet.

FUnny that you say that, I have a box that is 10 feet long and a foot wide. The tope sheet is 1/4 thick UHMW, it works awesome. It slides really well and really fast. I didnt use coping and have had no problems the entire season and ya, use a strong, thick screw and screw down into the plastic, just make sure the screw isnt sticking out
