There's no new go pro coming out anytime soon right?

I have no fucking idea, just buy a camera and use it. You will never really be able to keep up with technology in the camera world, so don't try.
 
Camera wise you will be set with the 1080 one, its unlickly GOPro will go to 2K or 4k res as it simply has no use for most people. There working on new backpack accesories for the cameras, currently so get a 1080 and get any addons if you want them. and yes the 3D housing is out it just uses 2 standard cameras.
 
Oh I'm aware, been using this for quite some time now. DSLR's are too expensive when it comes to getting one i want with a good lens.

This will be so awesome, even more options for people to film themselves getting rad on blue groomers and 50/50ing flat boxes. I can't wait.
 
I really don't know shut about the contour plus but previous contours blow anus....I know two people with them that cannot get them to shoot decent hd....on standard they're fine and if your standing still the hd is fine....get any speed and it looks like straight poop....regardless of fancy shmancy cards and all that hoopla....I'd have to see the plus do well for at least a year before I considered getting it....jus sayin
 
the trick to shooting in hd good is having a lil bit of whatever it is monted on in the shot. for example if you have it mounted on goggles have part of the lense in the shoot. i can upload photos to show what i mean
