Searchbared and didn't see anything, so if someone already posted this under something other than the name of the band, apologies. Anyways, new band, new cd.

All names most of you have heard before though, Josh Homme from QOTSA, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters/Nirvana and John Paul Jones from Led Zepplin. Pretty cool sound, if you listen to the whole cd you can really hear the influence from all 3 members come into a pretty unique style. This is just the release track, but its pretty good.

I bought this album on it's release date. Not dissapointed. Mind Eraser is one of my personal favorites. Brass section at the end is awesome!

And I gotta say I love that they use a bass slide in some songs/live performances

That being said, they're absolutely awesome. I had the pleasure of being at their 3rd ever show and it was simply amazing. They were the surprise act at this festival in Belgium, and a lot of people had a good suspicion it was going to be them... so when they were soundchecking, the drums were up next, and they had to remove the cloth that covered it... and yep, there it was: the vulture. the crowd went nuts :D

good times... I miss the Foo Fighters though :[ anyone who's a fan of them should find Pocketwatch and The Missing Pieces, I think the first is more of a Dave Grohl project than a Foo Fighters project but some of the songs are from the Foos...
