last monday night someone took the keys out of the bed of my truck and broke into it. they made out with 7 dollars, some hand rolled cigs, and my oakley jacket with a gopro in the front pocket. this guy is an absolute ass. i would have rather him take everything in that truck besides the jacket.

NS, what has been wrongfuly taken from you?
 
I'm not saying that isn't shitty, and they don't deserve a beat down, but you should learn a lesson from this. Don't keep the keys in the bed of you truck next time? Not sure if the go pro or anything was out in the open but put something over stuff like that or throw it in the glove box or under the seat.

Yeah OP that was fucking stupid of you to do. I'll admit I was fucking stupid once, I had left my iPad in my ski bag when I have a seasons locker at my mountain, luckily I tracked the address and got my iPad back, but I didn't get the 2 ORANGE[/u] gatorades...yes...fucking orange, they were small ones, but nonetheless fucking orange gatorades. that heartless douchebag
 
back when minidisc players first came out someone jacked it from my backpack in the gym locker room.

i had my skis stolen from the hill when i went inside for lunch one day. i even separated them.

my bike was stolen from school when i left it there for an evening. i got a ride home with friends that day and went back around 8:00 to pick it up and the chain was cut.

On a completely unrelated note,

I just scored this sick new oakley coat, and it came with a gopro!

The guy that sold it to me left 7 dollars in the front pocket and I used it to buy some orange gatorades. He was the one who showed me the orange flavor. He also tried to sell me an IPad last year, but I turned it down.

i had a longboard stolen after leaving it in my schools student center unattended for literally 2 minutes. shit sucks especially since i had a lot of memmories from that board... o well

Sometimes if you leave your car unlocked it's better. That way theirs don't smash the window. But you shouldn't do something like that if you have a gopro inside
 
I am at a loss for words. Are there really people as dumb as you walking around every day? How hard is it to lock your truck and take the keys inside with you? I honestly don't even feel a little bad for you.
 
back in like 2003 someone stole my video camera and the tapes that had all my footage in it (back when we had tapes and digital) in april right when the season was ending. i was devastated that all my footage was gone.
 
This, I never have anything of value in my car so I just leave it unlocked and take the keys with me. Had a window smashed in a Stop & Shop parking lot by some dickhead who was later caught by the police. And if I do have to bring something of value in my car, I'll try to take it with me when I get out. If I can't THEN I lock it.
