THE X SLOPESTYLE COURSE IS STUPID

I feel that it needs a lot more flow and a lot more creativity to it, maybe even make the course a bit longer. It should have several lines to choose from, including jumps, but also boxes, rails, and hips. The rails and boxes should have good shapes to, of course flat, but trap, c, s, rainbow, and kinked. This years is pretty weak, trap box, short up box and 4 jumps, weak.

Rails just ruin your bases and edges. The pros don't have time to waste just ruining their skis. They don't just grow in trees.

xgames is a made for the masses to watch from their couches event developed by espn/abc. you can check out a real slope course at the more core snowsports events. for now, enjoy the show.

EXACTLY. i mean this seems weird how i view it, but to me, the pros like jon and such are skiers and the people who are so dope and like ghetto skiers. yea that sounds wicked weird, but they seem soooo different almost as if its like 2 differnt types of people. I dunno, i cant really explain what i mean, but yea so many people could get in and absolutely THROW down on rails. Do some still pretty good jumps and podium. I would personally like to see more rails in it regardless though, just to see what some of these people could step up in the rail scene and do anything more than 270 on and off. I mean last year, candides winning run had such a sloppy 270 off on the down rail 1dt hit.

Id like to see these people do stuff other than jump which ive only really seen them do.

It would be interesting if next year the course wasnt so open like everyone knowing what its gonna be somehow, and them throwing in many rails. the pros would realize they have to pull something outta their asses and try something new.

i dont know if any of that makes sence, but yeaaa, will be a good comp anyways.. gettin ready for BIG AIR!

Everyone gets to hit the same jumps, so what if jon helped make them sick. Half these guys can do double flips too...

no rails makes it barely slopestyle. look at the us open they have a sick combo of both and imo it is one of the best comps around. it is more liek someone said just an airshow right now and i think they need to make it so a person needs to be a balanced athlete to win aka rails and jumps

they have an enormous trap box with so many possibilities u can come on from the sides etc and the up box u can go so big off it. the jumps are bigger i think the course is dope

well think of it this way...jumps mean more variety with tricks.

most people dont want to see everyone just spinning onto or off of rails.

ya obviously doubles aren't tech...

all the people saying it's cause Jon is designing the course... maybee you should watch his video blog, the course was already 90% finished before he'd ever even seen it
