The world's most famous soccer player, what you think !!!

Black man went crazy

So you know that video of american footballers doing crazy things like that right?

Well New Zealand came up with its version..

This is the NZ All Blacks, and it was an advert on TV.

Then a Australian rugby team ( NZ vs Australia is quite similar to canada vs America) did a mockery and came up with this version..

why does NZ's most popular sports best players seem to live in 1 bedroom bungalos?

their signs made of cardboard?

and that mockery was hilarious.

he is the worlds most famous soccer player though. He isn't the worlds best but I would most like agree that he is the most famous

the only ones on that list that all my non soccer player friends would know are ronaldo and pele, maybe.. no one's saying beckham is the best, just that he's more of a household name than others.. so let's get over this thread title sheesh

its sounds like you have a personal bone to pick.

Beckham's involvement with Major League Soccer began while he was still a Real Madrid player when it was confirmed on 11 January 2007 that the world's most famous footballer would be leaving Madrid in six months in order to join MLS' Los Angeles Galaxy.

Although he may not be your favorite player he is still one of the most well known faces in the world for the sport of football

no, watch how he strikes it and how it behaves. you can tell he's not just putting his toe down and doing oppo curve, he hits it instep and it takes that path then bends back to outside curve more than halfway thru its flight..

Stop trying to argue about something you know very little about.

I'll admit that I do dislike his celebrity status, his robopussy wife, the endorsements and the stupid names for his children; and to be honest a lot of that shit probably contributed to the downfall of his football career. He's been all but forgotten outside of MLS. Beckham is the British (queue ridiculous hype) Juninho: great work ethic, humble, solid leader, good passer, can strike a wicked dead ball, but NOT world class.

haha.. i think youre projecting bro. 98% of this site hates soccer.. and of the 2% that like soccer, im not sure ive ever seen any supposed worshipping of beckham. you just mad?

i understand completely.. i was explaining that yes, you can tell because of the curve, cause it doesnt behave like an outside curve does and he doesnt hit it like you would for one.. his is a "regular" curve in as it does when you curve with your instep, and then it just suddenly goes oppo

dude your such a fucking bitch no one is worshipping him like god. david beckham is very clearly the most famous soccer player in the world. i can guarantee you that if you were to do a random poll on the street and ask people if they knew who david beckham was more people would know who he was than every single player on bitchmade chelsea combined. you suck

You're little hypothesis would be wrong in: any country that is good at soccer, or any country that has a decent general knowledge about soccer. Cute though, keep trying.

literally JUST watched him on the news, they asked him bout this and he said he spent 6 hours on the beach so he had a lot of time to practice but he was smiling the whole time haha, so yeah fake. They also said it is a pepsi ad sooooooo.

Nope, you travelled round Asia much? I have, and a lot of the time when I say I am English, people still talk about Beckham. Given that 60% of the world live in Asia, I'd say that makes quite a big difference. Whatever you think about Beckhams skills, he's done amazingly well at marketing himself.

I'm 90% moving to Europe next year. We should grab a pint in London and go see the West Ham vs. Millwall derby.

hahaha i would absolutely love to. Though we might get killed, regardless of which colours you wear. Not going to be in london next year though.

I'm planning on getting myself back there, somehow, someday.

You clearly think we are arguing about two completely separate topics. "Most famous soccer player" =/= "worlds best soccer player" Everyone but you seems to realize the difference
