The "What if NS..." thread

Here is a thread for you to say all those crazy "what if"'s you've been thinking about NS.

I know this is most likely not possible and would take forever to do BUT. What if NS had an NS stock market-ish thing going. Like you could look at people karma raise and lower over time, like the stock market charts. And you could invest in pro skier/regular member and the person who had gained the most points at the end of the month from smart investing or whatever could win some stickers. And you could see when you put out a new video or picture how much Karma jumps or falls. Also, when a member makes a retarded thread (possibly such as this one) you could watch as it drops.

begin the hate, i just wanted to get that idea of my shoulders.
 
Im almost 100% we had something simmiler to what you said. But over timeit got deserted and eventually deleted.
 
i feel like i remember this. like you got a certain amount of money and you could buy shares of members or somehting along the lines of that

wasnt it the skier exchange or something? I don't remember because i barely ever used it. It was a cool idea but i think it was too complicated for a lot of people, and you really had to know about it or be looking specifically for it.
 
Yes it was called the skier stock exchange or SSE. I used it a lot it was really fun.

Skiers "value" went up and down based on comp results, edits, movie segments and overall popularity. You would buy and trade stock in skiers that you thought were going to have a great comp or film segment. It stopped because people found a way to hack the system and they sort of just ruined it for everyone.
 
what if 90% of the members didnt log on, leaving the 10% of good members

that would be a good day
