I just finished Subnautica, it took me almost 60 hours ? I think it’s supposed to be a ~25 hour game?

nooooooo, subnautica is a 45-50 hour game. that shit takes forever especially if your not looking up how to beat it

I just played it for the first time and completed in 50 hours. I have no idea how somebody could complete in 20 hours

I played below zero as well but it wasn’t as good as original subnautica

I think below zero had a better ending to it, it was for sure less scary though

Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn and it must be one of my favorite single player games I've ever played. The combat system is ridiculously fun

forbidden west is even better. Highly suggest it

Just re-started some playthroughs on my PS about 2 months ago until my sisters dog ate all my controllers one day :(

Very sad bros

Nooo how'd you like it? I need to get around to it soon.

I enjoyed it a lot, the upgraded visuals were insane, and one of the coolest video game boss fights at the end.

Would've liked some more side quests and things outside the main story of the dlc, but very sick

Hell yeah. I'm doing a playthrough of the AC Odyssey DLCs and it's next in my list

Blood borne has been whoopin my ass lately.

Use the pistol and learn to parry. Makes so many fights way faster especially when you build for high damage from viscerals

I’m decent at parrying. I know it’s optional but fighting darkbeast Paarl atm. I thought it’d be easy as cleric beast but nope.

mob enemies are real easy now

I hated Paarl. I don’t think those games are designed for huge enemies, the camera gets messed up and it’s easy to end up trapped under the boss and get instakilled. Some other bosses like Kos are way harder but at least feel fair lol

I do not understand how Microsoft how game pass can be sustainable with how big game budgets have gotten. Has no one seem what happened after Netflix assumed it's subscription base would keep growing more each year?

Stoked for Starfield. Building a PC for it next month since I am a PS5 guy. Currently replaying Fallout 4 for the millionth time to tide me over

I’ve been on PlayStation but they have a similar thing, so many new games, like all the god of wars, Spider-Man’s, and horizon games are all free with subscription. I haven’t bought a game in years

I am also on playstation but I do think Sony's method makes more sense in the long run as those games aren't available to ps+ until a bit after release. I think Forbidden West had the shortest time tho, around 8 months possibly?

I dunno, I remember how many studios have gone under due to EA in past generations and that would suck to happen again

I think PC performance is going to be absolute garbage at launch. Especially since they decided to partner with AMD, which means no DLSS or ray tracing for people with nvidia cards. Essentially the only people who will be getting good performance on PC will not just be people with very beefy pc's, but people with very beefy pc's with AMD components. I'll still be playing it though

Also did you know fallout 4 is apparently getting a next gen update for free this year? no idea when yet. Never played any of the fallout games, waiting for the nex gen update

i think you're underestimating how many people use game pass

I've been following this as well. I thought Bethesda would say something about it at the recent Xbox/Bethesda event but they didnt. Fallout 4 is my comfort game and even without the next gen update it plays great! Excited to get a PC so I can play with some real mods for it. You play Elder Scrolls games?

Only skyrim which I wasn't crazy about. That combat system is clunky as hell. think I played it 10 years too late though

You boarded my ship and I'm double gunning and I'm bucketing you as your soul transcends to the ferry of the damned

Also they removed silent boards I'm pretty sure

I had to put it down for a few weeks because there was so much to do it felt like a full time job.

Yeah no joke. Exploring the depths especially feels like it takes forever, I ended up listening to audiobooks and zoning out as I did caves and lightroots and shrines, which to me is a sign that the gameplay isn't all that fun. I don't think I liked it as much as BOTW, it didn't feel like there were many exciting new things to discover outside of the sky and so many of the areas on land were the same as the last game. Still at least an 8/10 game tho lots of creative puzzles, fun combat, story was nice, and the temples were better than the Divine Beasts.

I hope we get a more traditional Zelda next open world games are such timesinks, a tight 30 hr game like Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess would get me way more hype.

Someone teach me to play sea of thieves on Xbox

It's hard asf but if I have time I can show u

You need to set aside 2 hours minimum at a time for the game to be enjoyable tho

The depths sucked the joy out of the game for me. The whole time I’m down there I’m thinking I could be out hiking instead of watching Link hike in the dark. I still enjoyed most of it, temples were an improvement but like you I want actual puzzle dungeons in a smaller world for the next game.

Bought a PS5. First console I've had since the 360. Stoked to run cod with the boys and bring gran Turismo on rainy days

Hell yeah dude. Don't sleep on the single player games too. Horizon and how are killers

I donated both my OG Xbox 360's to goodwill. One of them had OG Skate. downloaded on it + tons of free games I had in the tub. I hope whoever finds it has as much fun as I did with those games. Some classics in there for sure.
