The ultimate skimobile

I have been thinking about switching my car that is way to respectable for a skier into something more fun. As it is now there wont be any funny stories about the trip itself. I guess extreme traveling should become a sport, not just the same old, was tired sat into the car and got there. Anyone have a opinion about this?

 
get an outback...we've already determined that is the best car for road trippin

my grandma just got the new 2003 outback fully loaded, it is such a nice car

my outback has carried me to canada and back (from sacramento) two consecutive summers now... me and my little bro made the drive last summer in one straight shot. 1 p.m. to 5 a.m. and we both slept in it.

The reason why I asked is that I think it would be cool to have a rusty old wan, and mod it into a nice skimobile. Of cause all the important stuff a skimobile need, flames on the side, space to stash gear, option to sleep in it, big table next to the driver seat where you can stash all the stuff you need while driving . And of cause you don’t have to care to much, bumpers are there to be used. It would be The best thing about it I would have more money to have fun for, if I got an outback I would probably have money to go skiing 1 time pr winter and that is a shit deal.

 
i disagree about the outback. If you want a fun car with space get a subaru wrx station wagon. If you are willing to spend like 25-30 grand then get an audi s4 avant (station wagon) or like 20 grand an audi a4 avant. Those cars are fun.

 
the audis would be expensive to maintain and expensive to buy on the downside. But the wrx is almost as fast and less expensive.

 
the parts for the audi may be more expensive, but overall its a better car. Sweet interior, sick 4wd, fast as hell. The Subaru may cost less, but it won't last as long, the build quality on those things have always been pretty poor

Yea i say get the audi too, i just mentioned the subaru because it was less money and a preety sweet car. But German cars last for fuking ever and the s4 flies, a4 is fast too but not as fast. Im obsessed with audis, so if you have questions, ask them.
