Hi Newschoolers! The Summer Rail Challenge is back, last year I ran this contest and the response from the participants was so rad that I've decided to run it again. It's always so much fun to watch summer backyard rail edits, and see all the creative setups and new tricks people come up with. Let's together make this into a really fun thing for everyone to enjoy! :)

Bummed because there's a roofing project going on at my place and they need the space where my setup is. Gonna be a week or three without shred...

I actually think it's the damn Clif bar diet hippies trying to get me into X-treme slacklining.

Hard drive died today, yippie! I might be able to get it recovered, but worst case ontario my 4 months of turf skiing go undocumented. I'm about to go and cry over a big bucket of ice cream now.

I will still submit something, but with no shots due to crashed hard drive and 4 days left to shred I cannot promise anything.

Bummer to hear that your hard drive crashed..! Have you tried to recover the files or asked any computer store if they can save your hard drive? I was really looking forward to see your entry, hopefully you can still get something together!

It was a solid state drive, wasn't going to be worth it to try and recover the files. A good chunk of the entry was the stuff I already put out this summer but I was most proud of the shots that never saw any daylight. I can't say that I'm putting together anything impressive, but it might be entertaining. I'm only using unseen footy.

The fact the 1806 lost all his clips and made one of my favorite edits is comedic. Props to Isaac, Dube, and Cory all delivering heat

I'm actually mind-blown by Cory's long rails holy man

Yah idk how my dude does it. Shits insane. I was proud of getting 50ft a few days ago, he got like 95

cory's long rails were nuts, the fact that they were kinked rails instead of just flat was even better.

everyone killed it this summer, can't wait to see how the results go

Fewer entries than last year but I'm still blown away by the level people are taking things.

For sure, so many different types of edits this year also. Sage's edit had some difficult tricks on super crazy rails, jackson's edit was super steezy, Isaac had some of the cleanest 450 combos on a summer setup to date, Dube's edit was 100% banger tricks and Stephen's edit had a ton of really creative features with some bangers mixed in.

Accidentally missed 3 submissions. Stephen in there as usually with bangers. Everyone all around killed it.

Thank you everybody that participated in the contest, I'm really stoked to check out all the entries now with my friends that will help to judge the contest. We will announce the winners next monday!
