The Stoked Thread

I really hope it is bigger than the 25 ft or so that it was in the comp, because.... it was very small for a double cork.

Just a little hill that my county used to run a t-bar at. It's maybe 300 feet of vert, with 3 runs. It was free though back in the day.

Emery Park in East Aurora

No idea if they still run the t-bar though. I don't think they do.

Damn, hell of a day. Woke up to the smell of a homemade bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich as it was placed under my nose. Smoked a bowl and watched an episode of It's Always Sunny before getting down to business, had sex from 10 until 1, got up and went downtown while she was at class. Pissed off a cop for the hell of it. Went to Starbucks to laugh at my friend who just started there today and ran into a girl I used to work with who said she can get me a job doing easy computer work that pays $15/hour plus commission. I've been trying to get a job since January so that was awesome... saw another person I used to work with whose looking for weed, which was great because all my usual customers are either set or tapped on cash. Then my girl got out of class and we ate some cheap Ben and Jerry's courtesy of a Buy 1 Get 1 coupon she had. Fucking right.

I'm missing my buddies car...

His 700hp STI got stolen out of his driveway in January, and his forged (skunk2) k20 Turbo engine w/type R tranny that he was about to put back into his Civic...got stolen last night from his garage. Some people are assholesssss.

not sure if im stoked just yet or not.. I told my boss that I'd be leaving work in June. Hopefully this turns into a fully stoked post later

the backcounty.com return policy never ceases to amaze me. i should punch myself in the face anytime i purchase something from anywhere else online.

Just got $105 in bank fees waived after calling private banking services, hell yea. Happened in the first place when a wire transfer took waaaay longer than usual to clear and I retardedly paid some bills before it actually cleared. Stupid me, but luckily Wells Fargo has a heart and they refunded me.

4 cups of garlic?! Seems like a lot, did you mean 4 cloves? Last time I used 4 cups of garlic I was fighting vampires

So I may have finished shooting my photo final last night. But then I laid all my photos out today and realized that I have two very good-looking, confident girls, then one pissed off guy and a hung over guy. I'd feel mean shifting all the images to the two girls, but I might anyway. Hmmmm....so many questions. Half the girls in the department are lesbians, and one of the ones in my project is, so perhaps this would be a good decision.

Longboard stoke! also, i get to ski for one more time this season, woo hoo!

and after tomorrow, i only have two weeks of classes left then exams and then summer time!

I MISS PORTLAND! Okay, so I miss going to Blazers games and sick concerts all of the time. Alaska is definitely lacking in those areas. But hell yeah, the Blazers are KILLING it right now. I really hope they win against the Lakers tonight. Eep.

In other news, treatment is still going really well. Radiation makes me sick sometimes, but whatever. Hopefully, this will all be over in a few weeks.

My boyfriend, Axel, is the most amazing person ever! My parents LOVE him, and his love me. I don't get to see him very often right now because he leaves for 2-3 weeks at a time for work, but when we're together, we're always doing fun shit: snowmobiling, four-wheeling, shooting his 25 or so guns (and some of mine), mini golfing (I love that shit!), building bird boxes with my dad, camping, mini road trips, cooking, and teaching each other how to play instruments. My dad, he, and I already have a few hunting and fishing trips planned this spring and summer. He has a 3000sqft house on ten acres of forest by a lake that he bought in December, and I'm moving in there in about a month.

Oh yeah, and we're each adopting a puppy; he's getting a black German shepherd, and I'm obviously getting a blue pit bull.

The only part that sucks is that he's a powderman (in other words, he gets paid approximately $80 to fly out to pretty much anywhere in Alaska for a few days to a couple of months and blow shit up). It can REALLY suck not being able to see him for extensive periods, but oh well. Some of the villages he goes out to don't have internet or phones, either. He gets back from Ouzinkie in a week and a half and then heads up to Barrow a couple of days later. He's bringing me with him for a week this time, though!

Okay, that's enough gushing about him. Work rocks; my relationship with my parents is better than it has been for the past decade; and my sister and I just bought my parents a sick ass honeymoon to Belize for two weeks for their 25th anniversary. Life is looking up right now.

Fuck dude, I didn't know they could even put that kinda shit in a laptop. Technology has gotten so crazy since I stopped paying attention to computers a couple years ago, that would have been like a two or three grand desktop if you got everything off Newegg. Jesus. Take care of her haha.

Just got my taxes back, split them with the ex, and after paying for my car repairs, I still have $2,200. Fuck. Yes.

Definitely contemplating that new laptop now.

Just found a badass place to live!!! Putting the deposit down tomorrow.

It's 100 cheaper than I thought I'd pay ($900 a month for 2 of us. so 450 each). Nice location, close to school, 4 blocks from the beach (!!!), nice hardwood floors, good bathroom, a garden outside that we can use, a PRIVATE tennis court...damn, I can't believe it. It's a basement suite of this huge house a rich family lives in. They are really nice too.

(For all van people, it's at 4th and Blanca).

So I am sure that everyone has seen this edit, but if you haven't............

I am so stoked and proud of this little girl... I knew it!

https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/261289/cat/top/

The interesting part about it (to me) is that I asked quickly in NSG for song suggestions and threw the edit together in less than an hour. edited, rendered, posted. The clips just seem to naturally flow to the music.

I am so freaking stoked that the edit is being so well received. I knew once I posted an edit of her it would be popular, but not this extent. 3500 views in 48 hours - 100 comments or so and top 10 rated.. BAM

oh ! PAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I logged in this morning to find the thread at 9950...i didnt even read papa's comments on the bottom of the last page, i just posted 200 :P WOO FOR TIMING!

So I made the decision that I was staying single until at least friday, and I upheld that. Then it only took me about ten minutes into saturday to change it. Ahhhhhh....I don't know if this belongs here, or in the "meh" thread. She is cool and I have known her for quite a while, but on the other hand I should probably chill the fuck out for a while. Dammit anyway!

Ran Into Dave and Mike Crichton yesterday out at the Champlain rapids, they were surfing in wetsuits in fridged water. I'm glad to see there both still doing crazy things.
