^Other than skiing, I use my 50mm 1.8 almost exclusively. It is great. I want the 30mm prime too, but it's significantly more expensive.
 
Haha, I have two L lenses and probably use my 50mm at least as much as either of them. It's a really fun, really versatile lens--with pretty good IQ to boot.
 
getting the ball rolling to start at the Art Institute of Las Vegas in Audio Production. trying not to get too stoked and just stay focused on what i have to do the next couple of weeks to get in, but for the first time since i started visiting schools my junior year of high school (about 6 years ago), i'm actually excited about a program.
also, saw RocknRolla last night... not as good as Snatch or LS&TSB, but still a fun movie. definitely check it out if you haven't seen it yet. i want Quid's bong... only for Mary, not crack.

24 hours of skiing powder in a huge fun posse. Knee to waist deep. Untracked, and then it would fill your tracks. Then bluebird this morning, and we ripped down one of the most sparklingly beautiful deep untouched faces I've ever skied. So, so, so many highlights. Sams run. Straightlining a foot wide chute. 30 footer. 40 footer.

I have never giggled like a girl so much in my entire life.
 
yeah, i'm really excited... i went on a pretty thorough tour and met with a couple profs yesterday and it felt like putting on a old pair of kicks. the program is really strong, too, so that's obviously a huge plus. we'll see what i can do, but if i'm able to get in, both my brother and i will be working towards pretty much the same degree... combine our musical tastes in a studio and we'd have some fuckin FUN.

furthermore, Billboard is announcing Jane's Addiction will be headlining Lollapalooza this year along with the Beastie Boys. Les, you'll be happy to know Kings of Leon are the third headliner... wanna come to the Chi with me, Lena, Drew (you better make it), Wilfro (you better make it), my brother, and a couple of his friends this August?
for anyone else interested, it's looking like me and a handful of people are likely going to get a hotel room downtown to do the Chicago/Lolla experience the right way... you're all invited, just get yourself there, grab a ticket, throw down on the room, and bring money for weed and wine.
 
Tried molly for the first time last night, had a blast. Kicked it with a bunch of old friends I hadn't seen in a while, lots of herb, and a crackin party that didn't get busted. Great weekend

im confused why every day cant be like saturday afternoon/evening was. waist deep pow that replentished itself faster than we could track it out.
 
I just turned 21, so I think I am going to be drunk starting around noon today. I also think I might make myself single before I go out tonight.

Bridger has also gotten a ton of snow the past few days, so hopefully I will get my knee brace soon and will be able to ski thursday!
 
My girlfriend broke up with me temporarily when she found out I went to a strip club, not just "A place on sources (Street) for a beer after work!"...maybe it'll work for you too?
 
So yeah, I used to not be a iHumper, but fuck after playing with this thing, watching youtube videos of skiing and just dicking around with it anywhere there is wifi, this thing is sick!!!

Nice big crack in the screen, but otherwise it works perfect.

I must not become a iHumper though. I will not become a fanboi.

I've got Wanderland, TITA, and a bunch of freeskier podcasts on it. not to mention checking my email everywhere, and having my photo portfolio wherever i go (my original reason for buying it).... thing is AMAZING.

couple things could be better about it, but generally speaking apple once again opened the can of awesome sauce with the itouch.

and saying iTouch just sounds so...... dirty.
 
The keyboard is fucking sloppy as shit, just to name one.

I'd be pissed if I bought an iPhone for communication and had to deal with that touch-screen crappiness, unless the phone's keyboard is better.
 
You have got to be kidding me...use that touch keyboard for more then a day and then let me know how you like it compared to the tiny ass buttons on a crackberry.

I'd love to support the crack because its Canadian made and all but the Apple product it just leagues ahead of it. The touchscreen keyboard, once you get familiar with it, is flawless to use...The apple touchscreen interface is the best i have ever used...no more nightwares about shitty touchscreens! i'd much rather use an ipod to type out email instead of the tiny buttons and tracking ball (seriously, wtf if with the tracking ball?!?!) on the crackberries.
 
My fat fingers and shitty aim miss keys like woah. Then again, I doubt I will ever use it it reply to emails. The extent of keypad use will be web addresses likely.

Still think the keypad blows though.

Then again people think I'm retarded because I prefer T9Word over a full keyboard for texting.
 
Yeah the ipod plan in Canada is a joke.

Ipod touch + wifi ftw! $Free.99, no contracts :P
 
oh yeah, and i can text cellphones from my email too....so free texting when i have wifi (when your in a city, its everywhere).

 
Anyways though, this thing is cool. I wouldn't buy one and will run this thing into the fucking ground as is (i'd rather buy ski/bike shit over electronics), but it is a cool little gadget no doubt.

I'd do that, but I am going for the permanently single status. She knows it's coming and has avoided me for two weeks now because I won't do it over the phone. So maybe this part belongs in the not stoked thread, but I can taste victory in the air...soon.
 
Bill Maher, a little loopy on the socialist train sometimes...but "Real Time..." is pretty damn good (his panels are interesting as hell).
