Any particular reason you are heading to the island then ferrying up to Bella Coola AND driving to PG? It would be WAY faster and probably cheaper just to drive from Vancouver to PG then up to AK. Actually it'd probably be faster still if you just left from Whistler and went up to PG. If you still want to go to the island (but don't care about Victoria) take the ferry from Horsebay into Nanaimo and drive up from there.

Sounds like a pretty wicked trip though. The ferry ride from Port Hardy to Bella Coola would be pretty cool but I'd be frustrated without a helicopter to ski the sweetass mountains.

Ah yes, now I remember.

All the times my crew have bitched and moaned at my local hill about trail erosion and such, but then we're the first ones to grab our gear on a muddy day.

i'm stoked i leave for Vegas in about a week! i'm going out for a few days to interview at a few places and get fucked up and pwn bitches and i'm taking a friend of mine along for the ride, so it should be a rad time. hopefully only three weeks until i move out to Las Vegas for good! gaahhhh!!! soooo excited!!!
 
Who could possibly hate Vegas? It's a land where all your dreams and fantasies come true. Now if they would only put a Disney World in Vegas.
 
Going Karting for a buddies birthday tonight. 10 lap qualifier then 70 lap race. 18 of us on the private track. Should be nuts!
 
theres a bar onsite. this is some pretty legit karting though...full highspeed race kart. Full race gear (suit, helmet, glove, shoes) required
 
I have to present my final project in an hour or so. then I'm basically DONE with school. shaved and showered and actually put a shirt on that has buttons on it, and damn, I clean up pretty good
 
We have one of those places in Buffalo. I haven't done it yet, but I guess it is intense. Super tiring to rally lap after lap.

They are a step below shifter carts basically.
 
yea, I saw that, I just went to help thompson set his up, your drawings are sick. I like the SE View inset, it makes the entire thing way more dope. and the shrinkwrapped windows.
 
Thanks! It's just too bad I got the view wrong, that's the Tobacco Root Range, which is definitely SW or even west. Oh well, I'll live with it.
 
My friend Erik was leaving for back home tonight, so I took my longboard down the road to the local restaurant/bar to see him. He got on my longboard, and right away, got it. Better than me! He was doing sooooo good. I was really impressed. And he gave me a quick mini lesson in what to do, and I'm kicking ass. Woo!
 
Is winter ever going to end over here? We went up to Bridger expecting to ski boilerplate with some heavy stuff on top of it, but things were a little different.

Despite knee surgery, I may end up getting a full season in after all!
 
I took the plunge and bought a Macbook Air. It's super rad. I am almost broke as a result, but I guess that just gives me more motivation to sell my car. Also, thank god it is pay day on wednesday.
 
Ahhh yes. Skied my final day of the season with a couple of friends yesterday at Mt Snow. We all met up around 11ish, had a back pack full of beer and shredded like no other. Skied soft corn bumps on the North Face all day long. Sun came out, smiles were wide as can be, and my ankle is officially fuuuukkkked! Calcium deposit anyone? Yeah cant wear regular shoes anymore. Meh

All and all, it was a great way to end the season
 
Yeah me too. Except now I have to deal with heading back to the doctors. This will have to be in the not stoked thread.
 
Did you forget a decimal point there, or did that actually cost $515. Cause it looks good and all, but at that price there is a chance you might have been ripped off. lol
 
He cut off his hair for charity. He was fund raising money for the cut and i believe 515 would have been the total amount he raised.

Uh, I also purchased a $110 hookah last week, forgot to talk about it. But its sick. And the lady at the smoke shop loves me, so shes giving me all these free attachments and coals and such since I was the first person to buy a hookah from her. Its tasssssty, and has a large tray to stop coals from rolling off and burning the carpet. We've fucked up two kitchen floors and three carpeted rooms so far with my friends old one, this one will be better.

AND all of my mantids are now in L3 (moult stage 3) so they're kinda big (1 inch long bodies) and they eat fruit flies like crazy. I put them in tupperware containers with some raffi stuff so they can feed and shed more easily while they go through these growth spurts. Coolest part is that they're now starting to turn different colors! One is smokey brown, two are this deep detritus black and one is GREEN! Haha, they're sooooo cool, I sit there for hours watching them. I'm a bug freak. I also have to buy some new plants for the terrarium since two apparently got some kinda fungus... or one was overwatered, and another was underwatered. Dunno what the hell happened, every other plant is happy in there. Cool mantids tho. Very cool.
