It's going to snow Thanksgiving day and get really fucking cold on Friday with likely lake effect storms setting up to hammer "ski country".

Really hoping to go skiing this weekend finally.
 
dont hate...i still have a full time job that requires me to be here every day so im not totally off the hook. hahaha

stoked that theres a pretty good chance ashely and i are gonna meet up on friday at belleayre. i will be on tele skis. oh snap!
 
stoked that after being mucked around quite a bit I've finally got a job for the summer.

I'm getting $13.50 an hour for being a plumbers assistant which should be kinda fun. Hellooo farmers tan!

Stoked because the forecast for Thursday and Friday keeps getting better and better as it gets closer and closer.

The forecasted high for Friday is 29 degrees!! With Snow likely!!!!

its summer here.. the job will involve alot of being outside digging trenches in the sun, resulting in a farmer-like tan. well hopefully it will be in the sun.. it does rain alot here haha
 
Gotcha. Here in the states the typical connotation of plumbers and plumbing has to do with sinks and toilets and other indoor works.
 
yea, since its mostly residential stuff for new houses we do the drainlaying aswell. should be handy learning a bit about plumbing anyway.

I'm getting a Bern helmet too. My parents are picking me up a Baker Audio in white for Christmas.
 
Actually I have to admit that is a RED snowboard helmet, if a helmet can really be classified to one sport. I snagged it off jibij cause of the sweet deal josh offers NSers. It's pretty comfy, will probably end up being my helmet for skiing/climbing/rolling/biking/kayaking and any other potentially head damaging situation.

but yeah, booked the weekend off from my shop job, cancelled my ottawa trip and going skiing on saturday. coming home saturday night, going to see April Wine Saturday night and then the GREY CUP on sunday!

gonna be a sick weekend!

 
I skied my 192 Thugs for the first time today. Fucking wicked. Reminded me kinda of my old JP vs Juliens, except better in everyway. Longer, fatter, stiffer, just all around wicked. I was very impressed. I am less impressed with the 3 big gouges in them now though. Stupid rocks. On a fucking flat portion under a slight dusting of snow, good thing I wasn't ripping at the time. At least they aren't coreshots.

But very stoked on them. And Whistler in general. It was sweet today, just wish I had Dukes and skins.
 
i am stoked as shit cause i'm in boulder and for two people that have never cooked thanksgiving dinner before we killed it and lesh will agree as the only person that ate the food and didn't have part of cooking it but did bring the dessert now i'm going to bed and getting up to ski in the am at keystone with a bunch of awesome guys then driving to aspen for the weekend holllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllla

we've also split two bottles of wine and a case of sam between two of us and we total 260lbs so i'm drunkkkkkkkkkk
 
I'm sitting here at work this morning, with no skiing open this weekend, STRUGGLING with anything to be stoked about.

I guess they started snowmaking at my hill last night, but it's all futile because the forecast is not condusive to there being skiing next weekend with rain possible 3 days and nights this upcoming week.
 
This article I'm reading is going to make my major assignment for the term so. much. easier. to. do.
 
stoked that i'm getting paid $100 cash to sit in an office and wait for the phone to ring, which it doesn't..therefore paid to sit on NS.
 
Fucking stoked that I had to most amazing first lesson of the year. It totally kicked ass. I had 2 boys, 13 & 9, who had the best personalities. They were athletic and caught on quickly. I was really impressed with James who totally stepped it up the second half of the day, to his older brother who was catching on more quickly. I was giving him pounds and high fives. These kids rocked.

umm I have a car!!! it's my first one. 99 civic. I'm very excited, but not so excited to drive it from vancouver to calgary, alone. and it's supposed to snow.

also stoked to ski blackcomb tomorrow!
 
Thats the thing, I have yet to find a good bar with hot bartenders. Either the beer there is amazing (cheap, good selection) and the atmosphere is right or the places only redeeming quality is the hot servers. WHY CANT THERE BE A BAR WITH BOTH?
 
She made the atmosphere. Its a nice clean, classic bar, but her attitude/manners lit the place up for me...fucking shwing
