Getting properly fitted and having good technique fixes shin bang!

That article doesn't even know what shinbang is. You get it from landing backseat, not hitting the front of the boot when you land frontseat

I know this. I am posting for a laugh not for a solution

Proper fitting boots, don't land backseat and BOOSTER STRAPS, seriously the best $50 you can spend on skiing.

ive tried everything but boosters, including proper fitting boots, so looks like ill have to try some boosters

-The number one way to prevent shin bang is wear ski boots that fit properly. If you have your own boots and you can afford it, head to a professional boot fitter before you hit the slopes this season.

-If you are relegated to wearing your old boots or even (gasp!) stuck with rentals, try to find a pair that fits tightly, yet comfortably. And then supplement the boot padding with commercial gel and poron pad inserts, which absorb impact and go a long way toward keeping you riding bruise- and pain-free.

These were their first two solutions, which is pretty on point
