If anyone is interested, there will be a ski/snowboard rail comp next Saturday (the 18th) in North Van at the new skatepark on Lonsdale. We are bringing in snow and a long flat rail, possibly get a kinked one too. It's all to raise money for charity, so come out.

No excuses for not entering because there is both a rec and competitive division.

you almost did miss it.....we postponed it because it was supposed to rain.

rail will be set up in the park, from the back corner down the stairset. Possibly somewhere else, but that's the best idea anyone has had so far so we will stick with that.

if some of you checked out the website, many of your questions would be answered.

Dont' forget that the rail is over concrete (it's a skatepark), so if you aren't too talented you might want to just watch. There will be some painful crashes no doubt.

there won't be too much snow...but enough to leave room for error...maybe two metres wide by 4 metres long? not sure with exact measurements, but you get the idear.

GNAR KILL would've been sweet, but we've already printed promo material, gotten a website, etc.

The afterparty is still going on, but it's at The Shore nightclub instead....$3 shooters, 3.75 pints and 3.75 highballs! yeaah! we were going to have a band as well but there have been recent noise complaints, so it'll just be your average saturday night DJ.
