Donnie Darko really opened my eyes about life. I don't want to get into it cause that would take a 500 word essay or more, but it explains how religion is void and how we are all alone.
seize the day none of you have probly heard of it. its got robin williams in it. the whole movie is depressing, and there's no protagonist redemption at the end.
i actually change my votes to one flew over the cuckoos nest and shawshank redemption. those two movies really made me question some things and re-evaluate how i live my life/ and they are depressing as hell
On the beach, it was an Australian movie about radiation coming down from a nuclear war in the northern hemisphere, basically just shows society crumbling slowly and everyone either dying slow painful deaths or commiting suicide. I would never watch the last twenty minutes of this film again.
but the saddest movie ever, i'd have to say Stepmom. ive never cried because of a movie but damn, this one, i can't even like talk about it without tearing up.
I HATE that movie. Rediculously long follow cams, then two 14 year old boys make out in the shower, then they shoot people for 10 minutes, then it ends.
lion king, and whats that movie where you do a good deed and then the next person does 3 good deeds and so on and then the kid that started it all gets stabbed? that shits depressing
