The rules of freeskiing

ok as we all know freesking has tons of rules that we MUST obey. if we do not we will be mocked on this site by kids that we dont know. and that will probably ruin our lives forever.

The rules:

1-you must hate racers. we hate them because the strict rules they go by are not the strict rules we go by

2-you must have tall skis. the taller the better. even if shorter skis are better for half pipe you must get taller ones that are past your ability level. because it makes you look like a good skier.

3-you must be able to do big spins or you will be made fun of. but you can under no surcumstance like big spins. you must prefer a 180 or 360. maximum 540

4-you must wear fashionable clothing, and have the latest gear. and you cannot wear stuff that only you think is cool. your outfit must have been worn by a pro or deemed cool by the 13 year olds on this site.

5-If you ski just to have fun. you are not a freeskier. you must ski to look cool

6-If it is possible you must make fun or "OWN" a fellow skier in thread, on the hill, or on the sidewalk

7-you must have more to you than just skiing. I have made a list of additions to your skiier image you can choose from:

-pothead

-Audiophile

-Pothead

-Rockstar

-pothead

-Cool know it all

there are more and I will add some. the rules are all around this website if there are some that you see feal free to add them. or feel free to follow rule number 6

addendum to number three: you must in no way shape or form be a beginner, lest you be 6. You must be able to do everything everyone your age is doing, and are not allowed to try and fail at a trick you have not yet mastered. you are either semi pro or naught.
 
i dont agree with 5 or 7 but yeah thats pretty much me, except i prefer ski bum.. i did sell everything i own and ditch out on good school's to go to Jc and live in tahoe.
 
Montage, i undestand that you may think that you are freeskiing, but these rules are very real and serious and must be obeyed.... no shit there aren't rules, do whatever the fuck you want, and i'd like to go ahead and throw a little "OWNED" your way. Also, a necessary addition to number seven is "gangsta," which is what i am.

I may not get as many days of skiing as you (which trust me I want)

but since I got on skis when I was 2 years old I have been a skier. and growing up in the French alps with my moms boyfriend being a professional skier has definitly made me a skier.
 
rule number 9: i am better then you. and since it is a rule, you cannot second guess it, or fight my judgement.
 
rule 10. you have to buy skis from CORE companies to be a truly hardCORE skier.

rule 11

you have to have a crew that you ski with and that crew has to have a "production company"

(both of witch i apply to)

PS i think a few too many people are taking this thread a little to seriously, its a joke, no need to take such offence. i accutally thought it was pretty funny
 
smeone who says something like that is just taking up the opportunity of an obvious joke to make themselves look like the actually agreed part of the joke....if that maeks sense

in other words your in it for the fashion show
