The "Real" sport of skiboarding

Im sure most everyone has seen the "e'dollo blade" edit of Henrik. anyways haveing seen that my self i was browsing through get boards today when i noticed skiboards so i checkd them out and came across video number 1 i know i am retard numbre 870 to say this. But come i aprechiate everyone has the right to a gay sport if it makes them happy but this isent a sport at all its makeing skiing slightly harder by giving you tiny little sticks to stand on so (and this is what makes me mad) you can have a excuse when you suck saying it is a diffrent sport. the guys in the video are listed as "pro" so i am assuming they can represent the sport accurately. come on guys "these skis are designed for jibbing and urban" really? these guys are OK skiers that ski on these little shits so they can call them selves pro. when they are no good to begin with Henrik's video in my opinion really proves that "skiboarding" is no new sport at all just skiing with short skis and different bindings.

point is if you're going to ski on short skis own up to what it really is.

first of all you really need to learn proper english. the first like 3 sentences made no sense at all. secondly, since when do pros accurately represent a sport? if they accurately represented a sport then most people would be pro. those guys are such gapers too. they cant do anything with style.
 
I'm tired of these kinds of threads. Is your self-esteem so low that you see the need to debase other things to make yourself feel better?
 
I don't know why in your right mind you would choose mini skis that you can't go big on over skis, but like you said if it makes them happy then thats good for them.
Unfortunately the e'dollo blade edit complete destroys the credibility of that as a standalone sport.
 
Dude who cares their having fun, just cos you don't like it doesn't mean others can't, that's a ridiculous statement. Similarly how do you know it's not their own business and they ride them cos no one else takes blades seriously (yes i think they're gay but as long as they don't snake me i don't really give a shit!) Also to be fair to them i don't think i'd like to hit that larger kicker on blades... if you landed slightly off centre you'd be fucked!

snowblading is so weird compared to regular skiing - in skiblading you have to really worry about your balance forwards and back, especially if you are ragging it down a hill - apart from looking gay the bindings are fixed and can mash your knee - a friends dad attempted it and blow his knee when the whole blade twisted around without the bindings releasing - gnarly shit!
 
the point of this thread is to say that skibladeing is not a sport just a bunch of gapers who think theyre doing something new on really short skis and my proof is that henrick is a 100 times better than them and he dosent even "skiblade" was just meesing around
 
agreed my spelling is terrible but if you understood what i was saying dont seee the problem also if you are going to comment you might want to consider reading the post first

If you were expecting to get a rise out of the community, I doubt you will. Maybe a few years ago you would have, but I'm pretty sure most of the ns members don't give a shit. Everyone is over the whole "skiboarding/snowblading is stupid" thing.
You may not think about it this way, but skiboards/snowblades bring people to the mountain that can't handle skiing or snowboarding. Plus with the money from rentals...they seem like a good thing to me.
 
As lame as skiboarding looks, who cares if other people skiboard for their winter activity. One way to look at it would be that if it wasn't for skiboarding we wouldn't have an awesome company like LINE skis.
