its an 80s (i think?) movie about a hitman, and a little girl, oh man, best movie ive seen in a long time. it actually made me feel. for the first time in a long time. go rent it, you really need to see it

Amazing movie. Jean reno is an amazing actor, and i am a huge natalie portman fan what a hottie but a little too young to think that way in this movie. Great plot and storyline.

I believe ''The Professional'' was an english (American) remake of a french film named ''Leon''. I was also under the impression that it was also a prequel to ''La Femme Nikita''. Both of which are great movies in my opinion.

The Professional was definitely one of my early favorites... I haven't seen it in a long time though! Thanks for reminding me!

 
Yes it is an american remake of Leon, The Professional a french film. The american remake is labeled The Professional

i would have to disagree with everyone on this. i really did not like it, i found it pretty boring actually. i guess it was hyped up to much to me i guess. BDS owned it i thought..
