Im not seeing the idiocy of this one. Jesus was Jewish. Christianity followed from the teachings of Jesus which are depicted by the gospels in the Bible.
 
It wasn't stupid, it was correct. But Flarestrike's 2nd moronic comment wouldn't have made any sense (as if it does anyway) if we hadn't put it in there.
 
Yeah, that was actually three posts. The guy posted, then Patty replied in absolute disbelief at his stupidity, and then "flarestrike" quoted him and followed up with an even more unbelievable statement that left me speechless.

Do you seriously think that Arafat deserved the peace prize? I don't think its a stupid position to think that he didn't.
 
Arafat deserved it, without him the Middle East would have been a bloodbath most of the 20th century. I'll save my full explanation and position for another thread, so if you want to go and make one, I'll contribute my 2 cents there, not in this most revered of NS tradition threads.
 
It was more the implication that the Nobel Peace Prize isn't a meaningful award.
 
i'm gonna try not to sound stupid here so that i dont get nominated for next month, so i think i have my facts straight here:

Muslim is not a religion. Therefore u can be muslim and Christian. Muslim refers to someone who was born in the middle eastern area (not sure of the specific location). The typical religion is the M.E. is Islam. So u can be a muslim christian or a muslim islamic person.......i think

a muslim is someone who practices the religion of islam. you cannot be a muslim christian, you can be a christian born in the middle east. you technically can be a muslim islamic person, but because muslim is define as 'islamic person', then that's redundant. someone born in the middle east is just middle eastern.
