Pizza is one of the greatest foods in the world. Everyone can say that they like pizza, but unfortunately it is rare that two people can agree on what makes the perfect pizza.
What do you think makes the perfect pizza? do you like to stick with the classics, or do you have your own custom ultimate pizza?
Personally I think that although you east coasters can take the credit for creating modern pizza, it had to travel west to be perfected. Thin crust is superior in every way to the greasy pan pizzas of new york, or the artery clogging deep dish pizzas of chicago. Toppings should be light, such as shrimp, fruits, vegetables and chicken. Pepperoni and extra mozza have no place on my pizza.

This pizza place in up town makes the best pizza around here! I always get the ferrari. Spicy tomato sauce, real itailian sausage, bacon strips, onions, jalaponoes, and just the right amount of cheese baked in a old style oven on thin crust. Fuckin amazing.
 
New York style pizza from a hole in the wall that serves on bits of wax paper because they're too cheap for plates. The pizza joints themselves can look pretty sketch, but the pizza is soooooo amazing... Although chicago is good, New york is the best. And then there's crap like Round Table, ick! New York! New York! New York!

gottttttaaa have a good crust bottom line thats the bsae of a great pizza. gotta be crusty but not like rock solid. also gotta have a softer inside tho cant be solid thorught and just crumber. gotta have a great sauce too.

the best kind of pizza? most of the time just cheese, but sometimes I go with Buffalo Chicken pizza. mmmm I wonder how many pizza's are going to get ordered because of this thread.

 
pepperoni with banana peppers. and maybe a bit of garlic sprinkled over everything.
thank god i work in a pizza shop. im so jonesing for a slice right now haha
 
Hmm...I like thin crust pizza best I think, but it's a tough choice between that and a sick deep dish pizza. For toppings I'll go for any combination of pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, and banana peppers, and every pizza needs Tabasco habanero sauce on it. Oh and maybe some marinara sauce to dip it in. Yum.
 
i like margarita pizza its just the crust with the cheese then fresh tomatos instead of sauce and some basil. I like to do it with spicy peppers and some prosciutto too though.

other than that i'm all about the brick oven pepperoni pizza. or flatbread.
 
i don't even have a preference, i just love reading this thread. i'm craving pizza big time right now. I like sausage.....hawaiian is good, pesto is good too. I made my own pizza last night with pesto and cheese and it was great
 
the best pizza is super thin crust with some fresh mozzarella and some shredded and not too much sauce, that shit is so fucking good

Thin crust is pretty good but it all debends on what I'm in the mood for. As for topping I mostly like cheese but every now and then I'll go for some bacon, or maybe even a hawaiin styled pizza yummmmmmmmmm
 
the meateor from boston pizza is damn legit or the meat lovers pizza from Antons this pizza place takes 5 years off your life but is SOOOO GOOD
 
Lots and lots of sausage, this is before baking, when it comes out the sausage is molten into the cheese and it has a golden brown color :D

oh, and for real pizza, either hawaii with pineapple slices or pepperoni i likes :D
 
potatoe pizza, it had sliced potatoes,blue cheese, chedder cheese, mozz cheese, brocoli, and bacon

best pizza ive ever had and i dont even like half the stuff but when its all mixed together its awsome

 
im a fan of super thin really crusty crust with lots of cheese pepperoni, pineapple and onion. There is a place near my house that makes the best pizza in my area, it has this delicious sweet sauce but i have had better pizza out of canada
 
at my moms store they make baketpatato pizza its so good. theres mashed patatoes a little sour cream , bacon adn like 3 cheses its amazing
 
This, and Randy's Wooster Street Pizza in Manchester. Or Campion's or Sal's in South Windsor. There is like, no bad pizza where I live, I feel bad for everyone else, especially those out west. The further you get away from NYC/CT, the worse the pizza gets.

hah that place is like 5 minutes away from my parents house sooooooooo good! this one summer i worked for a painting company and my boss was obsessed with it and bought us all a pie like every day.
 
Thin crispy bottom with a warm melt in your mouth middle.

Not too much sauce but just enough to have a pimp layer.

Then some cheese, pepperoni, green olives, bacon, green peppers, mushroom, banana peppers and then BAM, FUCK YA.
