The Official Idaho 2010/2011 winter STOKE thread.

I just came up with an awesome idea.

Step 1: I find an old microwave at a thrift store

Step 2: I bring said microwave up to the Yurt

Step 3: We use microwave to makes snacks and shit

tonight was fun as FUCK

they built a fucking volcano in the playground

i need to see someone conquer this Vesuvius.

The Physics of that thing make no sense. it is doable but only for about 5 people that ski bogus. Waste of a flatbox and some moron is going to hurt themselves.

Exactly, my thoughts were wtf was bogus thinking.

That and the waste of a rail they have at sunshine now which it is either supposed to be a stall or spine transfer. Idk.

I do like the black tube thing that they set up. It's alot better than last year for sure.

BRILLIANT!

Then i can actually cook ramen all the way and not have it partially cooked. Or other delicious treats made accessible via microwave.

I have yet to see anybody actually go over it, like I think it was originally intended for, but now I see it has quite a few more possibilities then I thought it had...

Well i'm pretty sure bogus lost a lot of snow last night due to the rain because it wasn't cold enough to snow so it rained at bogus as well.

it rained a fucking shitload

the parking lots had like 1-4 inches of rain/melt water

bogus got fucked

it was pouring

Is it worth going tomorrow. I debating weither to go with all this rain, and the fact that everyone is out of school tomorrow. And will the park even be open tomorrow?

Riding brundages park last spring was real fun though haha... But i hope they get some snow... Might be heading up this weekend

park is reall fun…great set up.. was there last weekend.

Aaron, i dig your stickers on chair 69 at bogey... real neat.

They'd be pushing snow for the jumps!

also I've discovered their formula for their jump building

they say they are making a 45 footer

times by 2 - 90

divide by 3 - 30

minus 5% - 28.5 Footer(which is probs the size the jump will be)

Formula discovered by Andrew and Aaron, all rights reserved.

wow, i guess its one of those things you'll never learn in school. but thats awesome they are going to push snow, some kid said they were not going to do this year.

i was just adding to your comments not trying to rectify them...

from your description i would just picture like a 5 foot tall jump because theyre usually like 3 so i thought i would make it more clear that it is abnormally fucking large

its actually not 8 feet tall

nevermind

but those two/(3?) booters are the best things that bogus has ever built since i have skied in the park

im so stoked to hit them, top looks like a nice 25-30 foot booter with lots of potential height and a decent landing(for bogus) and the second one looks like a dreamy 25-35 foot table with a deep landing(for bogus) with a fucking sweet hip on the right side of it

im stoked

park guys said that they open tomorrow

I saw many awesome tricks being thrown today! Junior from boise high with black and white saga jacket props to you. can't see to some edits.

sorry my bad, i didn't know... i'm still a noob at all this stuff. it was still sick none the less.

as for the rider, i thought his name was pete but i'm pretty sure i'm wrong.

And you must be talking about when all us kids used write stuff at tamarack back in the days, however i havent ever written, "Remember the name" I dont even talk like that

kinda lame

six tiny jumps in a row

with one of those up green tubes

and thats it as far as park

some small stuff off of bear chair too
