IM TALKING ABOUT THE SKIS
Well I searchbared and nothing really monumental came up. Still no solid reviews on these skis, and since they've never been around before, I'm trying to get some other opinions on these skis.
My take:
Skied 7 days on them so far. Great rail ski. Haven't been hitting much jumps since I fucked my knee up last week, but on the one day I skied them they handled way better than my invaders ever did. They're soft when you want them to be but still remain snappy. They don't flop around like noodles and definitely are a lively ski with good pop.
Durability wise, I'm getting kind of concerned. After 7 days the topsheets and tips and tails are getting pretty worked. On one of the tails I have a pretty far crack down the top layer, and the layers seem to be separating. Otherwise the chips are nothing super bad, normal sized chips from a ski. I'm just concerned based off the construction, there's nothing sealing the wood inside and it's making me second think the whole "indestructable" claim from Line. We'll see how this plays out, it hasn't affected the performance in any way, yet. I'll probably seal it off with epoxy just to play it safe. I'm starting to think that like a skateboard, these things will wear out in a month. Hopefully that's not the case...I was sold on these simply because I put my park skis through fucking hell. I ski rails 75% of the time, all day, and I wanted a ski that can take that abuse. I ski jumps too, just not nearly as much as I ski rails. Line has impressed me with their durability in the past and I didn't want to get anthems again, I thought they were a little too wide for my liking, like I said, I don't ski jumps nearly as much as I ski rails.
So NS, what's your opinion? I know plenty of you kids got these kids...what do you think? How they holdin up?

Everything sounds mostly cosmetic, but it's hard to tell since I can't see it. I just got mine in today and I they seem super solid, but I haven't mounted them or skied them yet so it's kinda too early to tell. When hand flexed though they seem SUPER poppy and snap back real quick which is nice. Line put a lot of time and effort into these skis and are always very durable so I'm not too worried on that.

ya ive skiied them for about 4 weeks know on all rails the tip and tails get a bit roughed up but its nothin to worry about still seems like a super solid ski and i trust lines durability claims i love my bangs

I just grabbed a pair last week. I also agree, the seem really poppy when i flex them by hand. I have to wait another 2 weeks to hit the snow thou.

A question to the guys that have been riding them for a few weeks: do you notice them breaking in and losin a bit of pop? and how do they carve on the groomers. I know there symetrical, but can they still hold somewhat of a edge?

Fixed my tail with jb weld. Seems fine now. I was only concerned because the wood layers were separating down to the fiberglass layer, and the crack went down about 3 inches into the ski. It's all solid and sealed off now though, so I'm not worrying about it.

...have you ever hand flexed a ski that didnt "snap back real quick"? like why even bother saying something like that?

this is true, but they seem even more so than others (I guess I didn't make that clear, my bad). You're right, most skis pop back, but these skis just seem like they have pop for days (again, I haven't ridden them yet, but I've never hand flex a ski that pops back as much - except maybe Phil Larosses, and those have crazy pop).

what do you do to your skis to do this to them. i beat the hell out of my skis and noting of this sort has occurred. strange.

stoked on my bangs though just waiting for pivots to arrive to ski them. thanks for this thread. i hope people reply to it.

I don't know man, I always beat the piss out of skis. Probably has something to do with my east coast attitude of hiking rails all day. Could of been from some fuck in the lift line. Haven't had a problem since I fixed it though.
Oh and BUMP! We should keep this thread going to stop the countless "afterbangs or _____" threads

I would review my afterbangs but I haven't been able to ing ride them yet because the weather is so ty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /rant
