The Official 2012/2013 Outerwear Thread

Given a deal on Trew, which was super rad. But I am having trouble picking out a kit, I just know I need medium bibs/large jacket. This is the outerwear thread so I thought I'd give it a go?

Its cool except the neck/hood. The design just doesn't look appealing. If they made the hood and neck black with yellow on the inside it would be alot better.
 
yeah I get that one, but: companies only want your best: your money... they don't actually care too much about a single fool fallen in love with a brand, at least that's what I think (how could big companies like Nike, anyway? ^^)

I like Armada a lot, but I don't buy it because of the name but because the stuff just looks sick... I don't need to pay more for a flannel since most look equal, and it's nothing too special, so I'm cool with not supporting anyone in that case or defining my character with brands ;)

hope you got my point, sort of in trouble to express myself the right way so people will understand hahaha
 
I currently have two outfits, one pow/shell suit and one park/insulated suit.

And I just ordered the FD pants again in L, the one in the pic are medium, and whilst the width is good for the most part, they are too short and taper too drastically around my boot. If they turn out to be MC Hammer pants I will drop them off at my tailor.

(I didn't place those monster stickers on my helmet, my four year old nephew did, I keep them on there just for him.(also makes it easy to recognize my poc..))

(Also those are genuine Salomon ten eighty's from '05, bloody indestructible, unlike the Suspects.)

I was originally gonig to go black bibs with magenta bellows so when I skied people wouldn't know if I was a boy or a girl
 
Haha doesn't look to bad, just your helmet is a little high up on your head but jacket and pants look fine

Can't decide if I like the jacket or not. Guess it's alright. Opinions on how I can improve it? Haven't worn any of the stuff yet, thinking of getting a different jacket or different color pants to go with it.
 
^jacket and pants look fine, I would do something about that helmet though. Like plain black. The multi colored looks like shit imo
 
all that NWT3K stuff looked sick!! this thread will still be going when next years thread is born seeing as this was started in april
