The Official 2012/2013 Outerwear Thread

No I hear ya. I thought it would look pretty boring but Im actually super stoked on how it came out. I have a white tall t to split it up a tiny bit too. I'll post a pic next time im out skiing but yeah. And I get the whole "well-chosen" outfit, I am just working with what I have instead of buying new stuff. Once my hoodie comes in Ill mostly wear that except on pow days.

that split up sounds nice, and also black pants-grey hoodie, I'm probably getting a plain grey hoodie too, but so far I will have to work with what I have too, haha... cause when I buy new stuff I'm usually on a budget, so I'm even more stoked how well it turned out this year... that's actually the reason I changed lot of gear, since last year was pretty much skittles plus I grew so stuff was getting too short xD

Ahh shit forgot to ask. What kind of Khaki style pants are those @Bwalmer? I think I'll be in the market for some sometime soon...

So I just got a Fatigue jacket in xxl and I feel like it's way too big, I submitted a ticket to Saga for an exchange but I'm tempted to just keep it since I'm lazy and postage costs money haha

this is why I don't like slims too much in skiing/on the mountain... look at how the boot looks like a clump stuck in your pants... and the other is that I think XXL top plus S slims just looks really weird, much more like a dress than XXL with baggies...

not hating on your picture, actually really diggin' the colourways!

Jiberish flannels are actually not like a dress at all, they are rather slim. I get your point tho definitely. But my boot is sticking out because of the way im standing...leaning forward...havent noticed that in any other picture. point taken tho.

Ok sounds cool, I don't like "baggy" flannels anyway (and also brand flannels, simply because if I pay 20$ for a noname flannel chances of noone having it are much higher :D)

sounds legit with the way of standing, same thing as baggy stuff doesn't bend if you stretch^^

Most of my flannels are noname so you have some competition haha jk but ya you can find some nice ones that aren't that worn out at Value Village

haha oh dang!!

well another reason is: who wants to spend 80$ just so there is somewhere a tiny little brand tag that says you paid too much... nonames cost like 30$ where I live haha...

some people like to support certain brands. they show their appreciation and love for that brand by buying the products.

This is so true. Don't get me wrong, I love a good thrift store more than most, but usually when you pay more, you're not only paying for a tag, you're paying for the quality that's associated with the name on it.

Thanks mate. Just skiied 20 inches of new today...doesnt happen that often here haha. Best day Ive had.

But to everyone else.... Id like to see where you get these off brand flannels with the same quality. Brands like Jiberish and Saga make probably the best quality flannels i have personally seen...and oh yeah by skiers for skiers. Im all for spending the extra cash to help out a good company which makes quality clothing whom also have bomb quality customer support. Long live Saga and Jiberish.

Skiing was dope and looked good but the camera shaking was kinda annoying.

Have your filmed ditch his poles and use two hands on the camera to stabilize it

DEY ASK ME HOW I DO IT AND WHO I DO IT FO
