yeah money for sure, the clearness of the trailer is what was mind blowing for me though, soo clear like no sketch at all and that goes into the money factor

well it is common knowledge that skiing is about 3 years behind snowboarding. and those cameramen are not frelance, they tend to work with the same group again and again year after year. in terms of money poorboyz could have done that. I bet all of that cabel cam stuff could have been done for less then the price of an AK heli trip so money has very little to do with it. being behind snowboarding and trying to catch up is.
 
I agree. It gives me shivers to think about what Ostness could turn out with a budget and crew comp to snowboard movies.
 
Snowboarding culture in general is more evolved. Plus, when you think about it, who could turn out movies like that in the game right now?

snowboarding is more popular with the general public then skiing so their are more videographers interested in filming a snowboard video.

You are right, and also I think mostly of you guys prefer snowboarding movies cause you are watching all day ski movies so watching snowboarding wich is something diferent is coolers for you. I think if you ask someone that dosnt ski or snowboard what he likes more peps 1242 part or this trailer I think we all know whats the answer.
 
competitive snowboarding is more popular thanks to the big names like shaun white. i actually think your exactly right but i believe that skiing is making a very strong comeback in the general public

Those trailors are so sick. I hope that is the direction that ski films are going. The quiality was so good it seemed more like it was hollywood movie, which is the way it should be. Those cable cams are so filthy as well. Me and my friend are building one up at his property next year

its a simple equation and the fact that skiing is getting more popular is why skiing is getting better movies.
