Well the snow is melting and i have put the skis in the garage i didn't get a lot of skiing this winter - but with to small kids and a full time job well that's life. The best for me however was that i got my son (now 3 years old) on skis - and he liked it

How was your season? What was good - What sucked?

Did you achieve your goals?

Thoughts on skiing in general - Comps - Movies - equipment - what ever

And the season on NS

so my season is summed up in this photo:

got another month and a half to two months left in my season. I'll let you know in early/mid May how my season was. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a pow day at my ski hill to attend this morning.

My season is either over, or it has one day left this saturday or sunday. But its also St. Patties so we want to drink all day saturday so who knows. its 18 degrees here (over 60'F) so there may not be much snow anyways.

I got to go to Breckenridge this winter, but we went over Christmas so the snow was not as good as it could have been. (same went for most of Ontario/NY)

Otherwise i got out whenever i could but not nearly as much as i would have liked to. After missing an entire season last year i was hoping to get a lot in this year.

I discovered that my new skis (Atomic Panics) are some of the best ive ever skied on, and I made a lot of progress on rails this year.

7/10

My season started somewhat early but was rather slow until mid January. I was fortunate enough to make it out to Keystone and Breck this winter which was a nice change. The worst part was two weeks from today I broke my hand skiing so my season is basically over. Whatever thought shit happens, it was a fun year even though I didn't accomplish as much as I would have liked.

To OP, that must be an awesome feeling finally getting your son on skis and him loving it.

I'm over stoked, Having your son say (quote): Dad i want to go to the hill and ski to day - with you... and dad when can i go to the cabin in the mountain again?"

In the comp's it was like the triples that newer happened. I'm stoked om Wester's new comp - and its cool that freeride tours have merged.

Learned a few new rail tricks and got comfortable hitting bigger features, also found that I really like just cruising around and not sticking in the park all the time. Season is over in like 2 weeks

it was my first season skiing park. i did mostley rails bud did some jumps at the end. i regret wsiting that long to do jumps. they are all i can think about right now. oh well. can't wait for next season

Season was not so good, (east coast blah) what was good finally got my gear dialed in,learned to ski switch, didnt get hurt, what sucked? Went thru 3 bootfitters (never again!) finally got boots on my terms and gut instinct.

this season has been so so. learned some new shit, got way way better at all mountain slaying. The shitty thing is i work 5 days a week so i have barely skied this year compared to usually. gotten some crazy pow days though. stoked for spring! hopefully i can get another 15 days or so before my season is over

my season was pretty sweet! did a lot of cruisin around, learned some rail stuff and some jump stuff, filmed for my friend's for a lot of the season and that was pretty cool. fun was had!

really good season here back in sweden, snow came kind of late. looking to get around 100+ days plus 35days in nz past summer, have about 1,5 month left. have really stept up my rail game so many new tricks plus got so mutch more consistent on al kinds of basic swup tricks on railskind of a mid seasson edithttps://vimeo.com/37920145

My season was pretty bad here in wisconsin. WE didn't get any good snow really and every time it did it melted the next day. Didn't accomplish a whole lot. I did however gain a lot more control in the park. Thanks for asking in general

I will post here soonish. My season is almost done. BTW does ski camp count as your season or not?

i some what think (if it's summer camp) that it is the leading up to and getting ready for next season. In my head the ski season always ends in March/April when the snow melts. My summer sports starts with the comps now - Biking, running, skating, adventure racing, triathlon so i'll bring out my skis in December and drive to my cabin in the mauntains - summer skiing for me is a lot of roller skiing because i do all the endurance sports

moved to Coloradobought real skis, since i am skiing real snow on real mountains.

skiied in july and October

got to ski some great parks

got my first real powder day

spring is here

got a great gog tan

going to be lapping the slush till may

not a bad year, could have been better though.

one more day left in the massachusetts season, maybe a few more weekends if i take a trip up north. season was pretty good, not much snow but i learned a ton of rail tricks and really no jump tricks cause there werent many good jump built in the east this year. met some new kids to ski with and did well in a few comps and had a ton of fun!

I learnt cork 720 after 11 years of trying. An hour later stomped my first dspin 7. But on rails, I pussied out this year and didnt progress.

I set my new east coast drop at 30 feet in glades, gave ski lessons as a volunteer and made good friends this year.

I have an edit in the works for my ski center, but I am holding off on the production until its complete. Dont wanna kill the hype!

season was pretty sweet might get another day in but i broke my thumb/ have lacrosse. Taught for my 2nd year this winter and it was pretty fun. Did get to go out to bozeman for a week, and I got to go to dew tour at killington. Pretty sick winter.

thumbs are a pain - after a ton of stupid shenanigans I need to strap mine up with tape each time i ski - the body gets older :(

wow, basically my season except I went to vail and learned some new jump tricks like unnatural lobster/safety follow grab 5s.

got better at rails in the UK and then went to Canada and skied some real mountains. I really enjoyed this season and met some really awesome people.

My seasons carrying on way into September though, I'll tell you how good it was then.

Worst season of my life

September - Fibula surgery to remove a plate from a previous break 6 weeks

October - Broken 5th Metatarsal (foot) skateboarding 10 weeks to ski, 12 before i was skiing hard. This put me to about january

Skied all of January

Feb 4th - Bruised heel while filming the RED Saga edit. Its been 8 weeks since that accident. Still nowhere near ready to ski

March 23 - Sprained ankle skateboarding.

I'm easily the most accident prone skier of all my friends. This is essentially the 2nd season in a row that I've been out. FML.

Inb4 stop skateboarding

Inb4 weak boy

inb4 give up

Pretty stoked on this season progressed a ton in te park and outside the park. Went to Jackson Hole and hit crazy cliffs like Nightmare and corbets couloir which was awesome because I was there with a bunch of friends in February when they got 4 feet of snow. In the park, killington definitely stepped it up from last year, got rodeo 5's with grabs, rodeo 7, got better at flat 3's with Japan's and safety's. Spun my first 9, got cork 7 yesterday, learned switch 1, 3, 5, and 7. Wish I got switch rodeo but I guess that will have to be put on hold. For rails I got switch on, switch kfed, switch 2 on, 2 on, lip on 270 out both ways, bs 270 out, bs 450 out, Britneys, bs swap bs 270 out, superfeds on rails got one on a dfd rail yesterday which was awesome, fs 630s out, fs swap fs 270 out, and switch 1 on 1 out. Oh I also did some big 1's and 3's with that tweaked safety or lobster grab. So yea 62 days this season and it might not be over yet do I'm stoked! k

- Learned how to finally slide rails. Shit feels great. Now I feel legit.

- Skied Whistler, had an absolutely blast doing so.

- Met a couple of new bros at my home mountain. Makes me feel a little better lapping the park.

- Skied 6 solid days in a t-shirt during spring break.

A short but happy season. Can't wait till next year!

Get on that horse boy - i think Clint Eastwood said it in a soldier movie from the 80's : Pain is only weakness leaving your bodyI know that it is shit (I have done elite sports from 94 to 2010 and had a ton of ) but grit your teeth and get back at it. I'm with you.

forgot how badly sarcasm is translated on the internet:/ i clearly knew he was trolling, i've defiantly heard people say that kinda stuff and be dead serious on here.

Pretty good season got some new tricks, smoother tricks, got a concussion and back muscle trama and just broke 2 bones in my hand. Pretty solid seasin

I feel bad for everyone who's mountain is ready closed. I guess that's one nice thing about Tahoe!

best season ever, got down 5's and switch tricks, unnatural spins, and alot of wizard tricks and stuff. plus an airbag came to my hill, and i skied with alot of pros. and since i could drive i got 69 days in this year :D:D:D:D:D:D
