The northeast is getting hammered with rain

its been raining hard for 10 days straigh. my basement (and everyone else that lives in the Northeast) basement is flooded, and my yard has a good 2 feet of water in it. how come this couldnt be snow??!! oh man. im sick of the rain and having to run from your car to wherever your going everytime. anyone else in in the same boat as me ?

When i look out of the window from the 3rd floor of my apartment, I can see about a foot of water in some places on the feild just before the forest. But it hasnt been raining for 10 days straight... probaly more like 5 out of the last 10 days.

well I dont live on a hill...my driveway goes down into my garage, but beacuse of our SICK drain we don't get flooded. yeah yeah be jealous.

it just stopped raining today. clear blue skys outside of philly. but yeah we got 9 inches of rain in like a day and a half or something. and what i hate the most is when you go outside at night, and its kindof misting, it doesnt fall to the ground fast so i had a heart attack thinking it was a flurrie, and then i relized i was outside in shorts and shortsleaves and i wasnt even cold.

According to my local newspaper, my town in NJ got 16.41 inches of rain in the past week. Holy shit thats a lot of rain.
