i love nature. may be tacking a biology degree onto my current academic studies, may pursue zoology, all because living in this day and age has made me realize how fucking awesome nature is, and if i could possibly get paid to do in depth what i do on wikipedia anyway i'd consider it one for the win column of life.

i know that there's got to be enough nsers that at least find planet earth cool, so i made this thread to mine some more sick videos.

i'll start it off.

can't embed, but so worth watching

always thought chimps were super soft, turns out they are bad ass.

this vid sparked this thread. "slugs mating" doesn't seem like a title i'd usually watch, but it's actually awesome.

This is an awesome thread, I'm in biology 11 this semester and it's so interesting, it makes you think and want to explore every aspect in nature. It's an awesome course but I don't like being taught by the books I'd rather go out and see the things out there and learn from that

Yeah man im with ya, My friends tell me I like trees too much. I love going for hikes and just admiring nature.

Do it, I am a Botany major and it is sweet. Labs involve everything from fruit to root/microb interactions. Personally I am all about the Lichens and Mycorrhizal Symbiosis. It is truly some tough shit though, plant physiology is a bitch.

I always thought this SEM was cool, it's a fungus trapping the hell out of a nematode.
