I stated that I was going about a different view here.. in essence.. a change of subject, within the subject.
That said, from historical senses, if it werent for europeans, and americans, there wouldnt have been such a massive slave market from africa as there was.
Sure, slavery has always been around, and still is in certain parts of the world (especially asia and certain parts of Africa) and if you look at it from a much broader, and larger point of view.. the industrialized world is a slave to the earth as it is.
Anyways.. nobody may know a black man who was a slave, or a white man who owned them, but many people, including myself know somebody who was persecuted against whether they be black, irish, jewish, arabic, asian or whatever.. so as a token of repiration, that double standard situation has been set.
