The Music You Do

Do many other NSers play instruments? What do you play best and what kinda music?

Are you a narcissist who listens to your own jams on the mountain? (Does that make you a narcissist if it's good music?)
 
Drums- several types

Trumpet -I fell off hard though

Keyboard - Novice but allegedly rise to professional level when intoxicated

Guitar - same as above minus professional status.

I wish I could play a violin or cello. I borrowed my moms to give it a shot and it just wasnt happenin. That shit seems pretty legit IMO.
 
Used to play tuba and saxophone. Nothing currently, concerning physical object instruments. I would love to learn piano though. And re learn guitar. Did it for like a month lol
 
Just quit when I left for college but-

Violin for 11 years, trombone for 7, bass for 4, and flute for 3. I can play most brass ones as well, but these are what I'm "trained" in.
 
Guitar - classical and flamenco as of late, but fingerstyle, specifically traditional celtic, has always been my first and main passion
 
cello, violin, viola, piano, uke, piano, and I'm trying to get better at guitar. I sing pretty okay too.

and I play a mean bongo at campfires
 
Bass guitar.

It's awesome if you like to jam with other people. Its easy to learn and after you get the basics, you can play along with most songs as long as you can stay in the pocket. Plus it's always fun to see what kinda funky sounds you can make.

My parents sold all my instruments when I told them I wasn't pursuing marching band in college. I miss bass and trombone so freaking much.
 
I play piano/keyboard by ear. I know a lot of A Day to Remember. Their old stuff tho, before they sold out. I'll pretty much play anything tho. I know some Beethoven, and shit like The Amity Affliction. So there's not really one genre I play.

And no. Never. I don't know why someone would do that but I mean if that's what makes you happy...

Possibly. I'd need some time to buy sheet music and learn it. I don't know the song well enough to play it by ear and I suck at reading music so idk lol
