According to powdermag.com, that would be me haha. Can't say I would argue that point, as I'm not the "typical" person you would expect to be a fanatic enthusiast of the sport of Freeskiing, let alone spreading the good word of the ski community all over the social media via FB/Twitter. Married mother of 3 teens, who often comes across acting like a teen myself, I'm thankful powder left out the word of "old" in describing me, because I feel anything but haha.

Anyway, I hesitated making this thread, but what the heck. I was extremely surprised and flattered to be listed as one of Powder Magazines "POWDER-qualified set of quirky feeds." along with the likes of Tanner Hall, Candide Thorvex, JP Auclair and others. Are you kidding me!! Guess all my time spent on the web, posting relentlessly about freeski news, posting endless pictures etc..., has gotten me recognized for something. Call me quirky, just don't call me old haha.

Oh btw, I have no idea what a "Klout Score" is. Sounds like I'm missing something!!

Thank you, and everyone else saying such kind things. I have to admit, I was afraid to look, as you never know how NS's might respond. Guess the community is becoming "NewSchoolerNice" :)

Just to clarify, I have 2 sons and one daughter
 
All jokes aside, I feel that some sort of ski catered to an older skier (not old Mary haha) wouldn't be a horrible idea. You're never too old to start experimenting in the park and by allowing some sort of easy carver/twin tip hybrid to be created accompanied by decent enough marketing campaign catered to the older generation. I think this could be a great idea.
 
You're just like my mom but she doesnt have an ns. But she loves freeskiing. She isnt a great skiier tho and is kind of a cold wimp. But she loves Stept and TGR and knows alot of the pros.

 
I have a new picture to add!!:D I was absolutely SHOCKED when on Friday morning, Sammy Carlson showed up at my doorstep, along with Willie Borm and APO skis,all to surprise me for my Birthday, and surprise me they did!!! Sammy was in town for the Hoigaards Tent Sale poster signing, as Hoigaards, along with Pineskis Ski Shop in Anoka, will be carrying the APO brand. Congrats to APO!! I'm very impressed with the ski, as Sammy explained to me the construction as well as the meaning under the unique graphics of the ski. Pretty sick!! THANK YOU SAMMY C AND WILLIE B!! I'll never forget it!

You know what else, one of the phrases on Sammy's Pro Model say "F**K the Haters. That goes out to people like you.
