The most underated ski company.. EVER!

Well not really.Yes, Elan has a horrible twin tip marketing,but as a producer of race skis,snowboards, ski jumping skis,nordic skis,they are one of strongest companies.Allthought that's nothing compared to what they used to be.They were world company no.1 few years back.
 
the elan ads with brad holmes are fucking awful!

he's wearing a suit that looks like its from sportchek. and the graphics on elan skis suck too.

as for the skis themself, never really heard much of them or ridden them myself, but people seem to say theyre good.
 
Another vote for ELAN! Not really a huge fan of most of their graphics but I like my puzzles. I get tons of compliments on the graphics on the lift and shit. Definitely seems like they're trying to get back in the game and into the park scene.
 
i own a pair of movement joysticks, second hand; they've been abused for 1y+ and after some wax + minor baserepair the ski looked like new! even the topsheet looks like its only a week old !!(the guy skied them at least once/week)
 
Straight from the competiton: glosticks are going to be one of the dopest skis next year. My new twins are the most fun pair of skis i've ridden on no doubt.
 
Surface for sure. Im in SLC right now and Everyone and there mom is so HYPED on Surface. Its Redic. Looking at there whole line at an undisclosed area and seeing who runs it and who reps it makes me even stoked on them. Surface is going to blow up and make every other company try to catch up to what they are doing. Keep murdering and progressing the SKI industry Surface. So hyped.
 
Elan seems to building. but really, not so good! just took a shipment of all their new skis, and honestly I wouldnt sell them to my mother! Seeing as they should know what they are doing, we expect more and so dissappointed. good luck next year! Hire somone else coz your staff fails you!! Elan = not freeskiing. Elan = racing maybe prob more = gapers. Glen Plake needs a better company
 
bluehouse and boone are pretty unknown and not even talked about much ont he forums

im going to disagree with everyone saying surface, they are very talked about( as this thread clearly shows) they even have adds on the forums.
 
Sorry, but Surface puts TAIL ROCKER on their park skis (or whatever trendy term they have for it, it starts right behind the heelpiece)! They should win "worst design idea... EVER."
Tail rocker is fine for powder skis, but for something meant to be primarily used in terrain parks (hardpack), I don't know what the hell they are thinking. Hopefully they figure it out soon because otherwise their skis look pretty decent.
 
burton used to be a good snowboard company but then all of the gapers found out about them... sad day burton suck now the quality went way down in there stuff.. but i heard there is a new company out called xterra skis
 
movement skiis are pretty good. Apparently there pretty popular but I hadn't heard of them for a loooong time and they're solid.
 
The park ski is soo much fun this year the whatever rocker is in the tail isn't very noticable... if you haven't skied them yet then you should
 
my dad tele skis and has like 4 pairs of these bad boys. so light. he loves em. a twin tip from goode would be pretty cool to ride
 
new skis offer nothing to a skier aside from making them lazy as fuck, get some straight skis with full camber and ski like you know how to.
 
I think Scott is a pretty cool company. Kind of hyphy and more underground as well now that they have TWall on their team.
 
I fucking love them! I've been ripping on Magic Sticks for a few months now and they are my favorite ski I've ever ridden! The bamboo core makes them soo fun on jumps..super snappy...and the new glowsticks (their 140 118 138 rockered pow ski) just dropped...can't wait till it dumps again in Utah to take them out!
 
I thought that was hilarious.

I also disagree with this thread. Surface is a small company on the rise. It is just taking longer to come about than say Armada, or Moment did. I think right now Dynastar is the most underrated company ever. For a list of reasons I only hold for myself.
 
dynastar has just been around for such a long time.

people who ride park and stuff prob wont look into them as much as they would line or armada.

atomic seems that way too
