The moral child thread

So my guy name thread fell to the depths of nsers after a new thread was conceived... This thread is for the one moral you believe in you would want your child to carry on.

EX, Vegetarians, religion, zen, bullying... What value do you want to pass on?
 
You may want to look up the difference between morals and ethics. As it stands, your thread applies to very, very few NSers.
 
Agreed. We can add ethics, but my goal was to shame ignorant boys. It's a late night thread, not a question of someone's moral beliefs.
 
Have to agree with this one. Can't have your kid growing up complaining about everything bad that happens to him. Also on some things that won't end in a lot of risk let him learn the hard way.
 
You have to combo a few things to give your some the core moral philosophy of 'Don't be a dick. Well, actually sometimes its ok to be one... wait, no, thats not a licence to be one all the time, just in certain situations. So don't be a dick okay? Hey... did you even listen to anything I just said?'
 
I think your examples are really good suggestions. So I am going to pick bullying. I want to pass bullying onto my child as a moral.

and i kind of wish i was able to talk to my dad about man things but we dont have that type of relationship
