The Magic of Snow

This morning we got our first measurable snowfall. This time last year we were close to receiving our 50th inch of snow, and school would be cancelled monday and tuesday from a monster 28 inch storm and frigid temps. My front yard was locked and loaded with pvc rails and boxes. This year is a different story. Today is the first legit snow.

But there's always something so magical about the first snow. For me, I feel like a kid on xmas morning, I get antsy, and I can't focus on anything else.

I feel that this is the foundation for my passion for skiing. I think that, for me, it starts with the beauty of winter, and the power of mother nature. And skiing so perfectly intertwines harnessing that power and enjoying it.

Im headed out there right now to put my rails in the snow. Enjoy your winter, and may your powder be bottomless.

Take it easy

We get 3 inches of "powder" at hills in Wisconsin and people lose their minds. It is pretty valuable in places that don't get too much natural snow.

Valuable everywhere! Majority of the people on the planet rely on snowpack in the mountains for water all year. All hail snowfall!!!!

If you shove it up ur ass it may transfer some of its magic to you transforming your once nerd self into a great and powerful wizard. Try it.
