Anyone have any good bushing recommendations? Im looking for something that is high rebound and good for pumping, and where i live the most i will be hitting is 25 if that matters.

i just got the land yachtz drop carve board over the weekend. I have only taken it out a few times and is really nice for carving anyone had or have this board?

Longboard larry Humu or the Arcane mini. Both have rocker and have a pretty surfy, fun feel to them. I have a 30" arcane and it's nice, but I suggest learning how to build your own, cheaper and more rewarding in the long run

ive been thinking about building my own but its been hard to find good wood in steamboat, what is a good wood to make one out of?

I already told you i went already! and go make a board out of plywood and see how it works out, and dont come crying to me when it snaps within 45 minutes

Every time I step on my board infinite amounts of bugs rush right to my eyes. And I'm about to start building myself a downhill board. Just cut the foam mold and I'm gonna pick up some wood tomorrow.

Oh and for wood you guys want baltic birch (not any other type of birch, must be baltic), which may also go by russian or finnish, I think. That or hard maple. And I'm sure there's others, especially if you're doing a v lam.

What wood are you using for the DH board? If your cutting foam, I assume your building a dimm press. You can only use birch in the foam presses, maple warps and destroys the press because it is to stiff. I was using 1/8 though, if youbwant to use maple try 1/16 veneers, those should work better. Are you doing a drop or just a flat with concave?

I'm doing 4 layers 1/8" birch. No drops or anything, just a topmount. Foam is cut for 11/16" tub style concave. That's just a bit more than 5/8", which is what the orange board in my pictures has. Heres the sketchup drawing after a lot of revisions from the original.

It's gonna be drilled for 31" and either 30" or 29.5" wheelbases.

I think 1/16th maple works in a dimm press, not sure though. I've never tried maple yet, since I have not tracked down a local source.
