i went to a local shop today and my buddy steve had a pair in the back, he brought one out, mounted, and showed me it and i was in awe. its the exact same as the invader, exact same butter zones and symmetricity and shit, but they are wider by about 2 inches, which makes them amazing. the graphic is also one of the best graphics ive seen in a long time. the store i went to had the new salomon foil's with all the writing on em (really gay in person) and the salomon something else in baby blue, those are sick. if you have time, try to find a pair of line anthems before they drop in august, because they are truly one of the best skis ive ever seen, and will soon be riding, jea!
 
yes, because looking at something has nothing to with standing on it! the graphic is amazing, and ill post it for you in a few minutes

i dont know what you think, but in person, or even in picture, these skis are stoked!
 
is it stiffer? the invaders were kinda soft, so idk why you would add 2 inches and not make them stiffer for all mountain. they were plenty wide for soft park skis.
 
I choose skis by the graphic too.. I 'm getting a pair of Scratch FS just for my powdercats tour next January. I'm hoping for 3 feet of fresh powder, the FS's will do great! Since they look cool and all.
 
ive skied the anthem they are stiffer than the invader and the ski real well all mountain. they also skied really well in the pipe
 
i kinda like 80s hair metal, well for the comedic value at least and i hate those... i have no idea why you would want that on a ski.

Yeah, I was going to buy myself some Sanouks because they are good for my type of skiing, but I really didn't like how they look. Instead, I bought myself some Dragonslayers; not only do they look sick, but they have a great graphic!!!
 
because if you haven't noticed Line likes to think outside the conventional way of doing things and thats what makes them an awsome company
 
SWEET THE GRAPHICS ARE SOO COOL. SINCE THE GRAPHICS ARE SO COOL IM GONNA BUY AND JUST HANG EM ON MY WALL SO I CAN LOOK AT THEM CAUSE WHO SKIS ON SKIS ANYWAY.
 
I have a pair of old Olin Mark II's that I ski on all the time, they work SO WELL IN THE PARK! It's probably because of the Bold Orange/Red Colour.

i can actually vouch that the anthems are really really sick, imagine a wider invader with pretty much the same flex, more stability, and durable... they charge in any type of park, big and stable enough for big jumps and buttery enough for messing around on small rails... with in my opinion dope graphics, but the graphics are in your opinion...
 
you havent ridden them, they are the exact same as the invader, and if you've ridden both you would know they are the same, except wider
 
i have also ridden them and can say they are quite fun, i found carving outside the park was more difficult than on the invaders but that is to be expected, a great park ski for sure
 
six pack? you mean the quickmount system? if so, no they don't. None of next years line's do, they're letting that thing die
 
hahaha...yes, steve is chads good buddy...that owns fresh...orrrr...another person hes sucked up to, to the point that the person (steve) talked to him to shut him up...and then chad proceeds to call him a good buddy...i love it!! but yea...they're only 9mm wider in tip/tail and 10mm wider underfoot buddy...not fuckin 2"...graphics are sweet shit...and i've heard they are a little bit stiffer than the invader as a result of the extra surface area but still ride unbelievably everywhere
 
ya after the invader problem im sure many line byers will fell safer going with the anthem thoe im sure line fixed the invader problem
 
yea i actually read in another thread that they did fix the issue with the invaders delamming last year...apparently it was the ink between the topsheet and grphics n shit...reacted all fucked up and started seperating from each other...changed the inks this year so the problem is supposedly resolved
 
I am definately thinking about buying the Anthems. Im looking for a wider yet flexible ski. The Anthems look really sick. And they're much cheaper then the other skis I was planning to buy.
 
im definately buying bacons this year for the mountains...just an't decide if i should buy invaders or anthems for dicking around in the park/cruising around the groomers...im 6'1" bout 180lbs...what you guys think???? invaders or anthems?!
 
uh cory has definately ridden them...but people notice different things...or have different opinions of them so shut the fuck up
 
i plan on picking up a pair in 178 for my park skis.

i think the graphics are gross. Hopefully there better in person,. even if they arn't i'll just cover them up.

 
I've seen the Anthems in person and on the snow, and they are probably the ugliest ski of the 06-07 season. There is way too much color and stuff going on to get a coherent sense of what the graphic is from any distance, so it maybe cool upclose when you can see everything but when your a couple of feet from it it looks like puke.
 
um as a person who has ridden the skis... they are really really sick skis, you will be stoked on them... plus why the hatin on kiss come on haha
 
and one member of guns and roses i see axel rose! i think these skis are sick! i had a problem with last years invaders but i got over the whole punk theme. and who knows? maybe tight zebra print spandex are the new XXL pants
 
i still find it hilarious that people base what ski they buy off of graphics...fuck, id buy a pair of skis that pictures of shit and dicks on them if they rode amazingly...GRAPHICS DON'T ENHANCE PERFORMANCE!! morons
