How do I do this trick?

Lean forward og backward or stay put? Does it NEED a pop? Do I lead with my head or my skis? When do I start rotation if I want to throw in an extra 180?

Guide me!!!

Andreas

jump straight up, drop either shoulder and tuck your feet in...you will naturally side flip, just make sure you keep looking forward so you don't spin.

It's a damn cartwheel in the air. Practice doing a cartwheel, then tryit with no hands on a tramp. That's the trick.

i do it at the pool, i have a problem tohough, i keep poppin a late 180, yet im throwin myself really sideways. whats up with that ?

the reason you're throwing 180 is becaus you're not throwing totally straight over. I do the same thing. It looks more stylie with a 180 anyway, so stick with it.

this is one of the easiest flips to learn.

yea i thought it was so sick an impossible till i just did it on a tramp and diving boards, lol its kinda simple, just llook foward and let ur shoulder drop down, try reahing for ur foot itll make u flip faster i think, well thats what helped me, heh

lincolns are about as easy as a straight air - you know where you are threw the whole trick...

yep, that's all i have to say.

just go for it...they're not tough as long as you focus on a point straight ahead of you. if you keep spinning a 180 in, maybe just try doing an underflip.

also, for those who keep spinning 180, try it the other way. as in unatural. It took me a little to get it on the ground and then the tramp and pool, but it stopped my rotation. I know it sounds harder but it's actually not. I can't even do it my normal way any more.

it helps to keep your eyes on one thing until you have completed the rotation, helped me a lot

Alternativly...

www.skiingmotion.com has some pretty good stuff on how to pull tricks like that. It has Boyd Easley doing a Lincoln loop 180, so that might help.

Using a tramp is definitly a good idea though, until you think you can nail it on the snow.

yea, misty540 dude - what did you mean by that? because if you throw normal lincoln 180's it's nothing like an underflip but more like a rodeo - for it to be underflippy you'd have to throw an opposite 180 (so if you flip to your right do the 180 clockwise)...

right, i just felt like talking so i did - i'm sure everyone already knew that.
