The Last Jedi

Star Wars is so fucking gay. I dunno who watches this bullshit anymore, I guess all these teenie boppers

Some of us have been waiting for a half decent reboot for 20 God damn years. We lined up around the block for the phantom fucking menace? An entire generation was betrayed with that garbage in one fell swoop. Fuck!

I can't enjoy the new ones. Daisy Ridley couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Her eyebrows and gaping mouth are the main weapon

Don't get me wrong, I love the old ones. I was impressed, however, with how the first reboot just repackaged the old and sold it . Exactlly what we all wanted right?

I hope that bitch does not consider herself an actress. my god I’ve seen dog shit act better than her

Just saw it. 2 1/2 of complete garbage.

Soooooooooo politically correct too.

Plus the person I sat next too was an alcoholic and reeked of booze.

Gotta love the hate on the movie...but besides people having bad taste, really enjoyed the last Jedi! It has one solid plot line that is continued through the movie and it was never straight forward...didn’t see a lot of things occurring that did and expected certain things that never happened! To the haters...please go fuck off, to the actual Star Wars fans...hopefully Episode IX can close out the new trilogy

i enjoyed it, but i was not a fan of the cheesy comic relief. Also it seemed like they tried way to hard to make it "Cute" (porgs). Ihave always been a star wars fan and am still looking forward for whats to come.

I thought all the combat and stuff was dope, especially Kylo VS Rey and Phasma VS Finn. I fucking hate however how forced the diversity agenda was, the SJW looking rebel commander was annoying and same with the girl that went with Finn. Too much comedy though and it felt so forced. Also hate how they tried to make everything cute

i semi-liked it. the only thing that i liked about it was when rey and kylo were fighting together. really liked how snokes warriors had lightsaber like weapons. overall i give it a 6/10

Seen it twice now and I think it is a great film, definitely better than episode VII. Johnson completely flipped the script on the whole chosen one or bloodline theme that is star wars, and made it so that anybody can be the hero. I can see why for a lot of people that wasn't well received, but it allows for episode IX to truly be taken in any direction. Excited to see how abrams closes the trilogy out, I just hope they give carrie fisher a proper send off.

Only thing I really didn't like about it was the whole side story with finn and rose on the casino planet. That entire sequence of the film just didn't fit with the rest, and could have easily been skipped over or replaced. Also rose's character (and actress) is flat out shit. Apart from that bit great movie.

I agree with the comedy it was to forced, compared to the original there was comedy but it was subtle and not forced and there wasn’t a ton of cute shit put in there for no reason. The Ewoks actually had a role in the plot and those little bird things in return of the Jedi didn’t do anything it was just shitting comic relief

That was only there to introduce the new characters like DJ (the thief) and the little boy boy who was at the end of the movie staring into the clouds

And rose was kinda shit

I didn't think it was very good.

They were obviously trying to keep us interested by switching between a bunch of different plot lines, but most were pretty pointless. Like the one with Finn was boring to begin with, but then any work they accomplished was instantly negated when they got sold out.

The hacker dude with the stutter was a pretty funny character though. Been awhile since I've seen a chaotic neutral character in a movie.

Agreed.

plus the ending was kinda inconclusive in comparison to the other movies. Kylo realizes he was fighting a force projection and ******SPOILER******* Luke dies? And thats it? The fuck Disney?

I actually watched it twice, because I really didn't know what to think after the first viewing. Some good, some bad, some very different. I wasn't too sold. But I enjoyed the second viewing a lot. Pretty curious to see where the next film goes. The Last Jedi definitely developed the Star Wars saga a ton.

Was not good. Dialogue sucked. Plot was meh. They put in too many stupid corny jokes and animals and shit that really ruined it. They made the force not as cool with the mind meld shit and stuff.

The premise was cool and it could have been a fantastic movie. They blew it.

I just saw it. I liked it, although I'm not a movie critic. I didn't mind the the whole the force is in everybody not your bloodline bit. I didn't read all the critic reviews. Is that what everybody's all upset about?

One thing I did take issue with is that if you can warp a capital ship into another one, they could have just done that a while ago. Or they could just be warping otherwise empty ships into enemy ships as kamikaze more or less. Although I'm still sort of unclear if she warped into the capital ship, as to occupy the same space as it, or cut it in half by warping through it and then warped a pile of debris to somewhere else.

Over analysis for sure though.

completely agree. opening scene was one of the best fight scenes to date, was getting very excited thinking this was going to be good and then it just went to shit. like I almost walked out. I love star wars and this was a slap in the face. The whole sub plot with Finn was a complete waste of everyones time. I cant stand how they just kept jumping to conclusions and finding the answer in like two lines. Movie was garbage. The only thing holding that movie together was the space fight scenes.

The casino scene like go fuck yourself Disney I want my 45 minutes back with that shit.

It was fine, but Disney clearly has put their stamp on Star Wars and TBH it doesn't appeal to me.

I want you to know I down voted your post.

Your Rant: Just saw the movie and I think you may have been in the front row. You know, that guy that laughed at the fur bees and "your mom" exchange of words at the start. You sir, saying "the actual star wars fans", are the man that cut the hole in the condom Disney plans to reuse for episode IX. If you liked the movie for "twists and turns", take a sledge hammer to your toilet and watch the cockroaches scuttle around in random directions. No shit it will close out a new trilogy.

tl;dr Fuck this kid

Movie Rant:

Jesus Christ I hated on the movie during the previews with a clip of ammo and left with a crate. They succeeded in killing every last original thing I loved while wiping away the most promising strand of shit currently hanging from their ass. Snok could have given a better fucking purpose for the new movies by giving him relevant backstory from the prequels but nooooo. Rey's parents, although still up to discussion imo, could have been more than cum rag dry cleaners. Hell, will they kill Chewie with a dog biscuit now? They already stomped the landing in real life with Leia, the one person who could have been interesting (although they made her a royal ass muscle tear in this one). And what was the island's asshole about, calling out new-and-big-dick-daisy-ridley like it was more than just a dusty mirror. I do however, think that they hit half the golf ball with the ideas behind Kylo. But Jesus! Obi-wan at least evaporated on his feat, and not like a bitch looking at a sunset. All that was missing was Luke's Banana Republic cardigan and those nun maids cheering him on.

tl;dr Read it

Yoda talked way too much and in a straightforward manner. He's supposed to a being of few words that speaks in cryptic messages that the person he's talked to has to do some soul searching to figure out.

It was okay but what blew it for me was how they killed snoke. Like really? The baddest bad ass in the entire galaxy and all they had to do was force turn the light saber around to kill him? Pfffft so ass, his character could have developed into so much as well.

I thought that was arguably one of the best parts of the movie. Watch it again and pay attention to what Snoke is saying while he is tapping into kylo's mind right before he kills him...

However, I do agree that it seemed like a bit of a premature death for a character that could have had a very prominent role through the rest of the films. I just hope they tie up loose ends such as who Snoke really was and how he was able to rise to power. Important to keep in mind that this is only part two of a trilogy. By no means do I intend to compare this new series to the original trilogy, but when empire strikes back first came out there were plenty of aspects that people were upset over or that didn't make sense out of context because the final film of the trilogy hadn't been released yet.

Right I got that as he was saying that he would ignite it and destroy his true enemy or whatever but I just imagine someone so powerful that was using the force to tap into his head could have sensed kylos intentions

Snoke knew what he was going to do. Listen to his speech, he said that Kylo was going to kill his true enemy and reach his destiny and all that. He knew exactly what was going to happen and that he would take over his empire.

Personally I don’t think that snoke is dead. If he can control someone’s mind from across the galaxy than he can easily use the first to put together a body.

so how come he didn't bust put hurricane tape of his midsection and kill the two little jedis.

imo it was a cheap out on a character that needed to be explored and explained

That’s why I’d don’t think he’s dead. I think that he will make a big comeback in the next movie

Because Kylo killing snoke was the last part of his training and evolution and whatnot, him being able to do that meant that he was finally ready to take over the empire.

How can anyone take a movie seriously when the villain looks like a dungeon and dragons basement dweller
