Thought some of you 80s/90s kids would enjoy this 4 min. video I just finished about note passing in middle school.

The Last Colorful Note from Alex Mallis on Vimeo.

All the notes are 98% verbatim. Too bad all the kids text these days. Folding notes into little squares is a lost art, in my opinion.

Enjoy!

im 19 now, and i put it in a shoe box in the attic with a bunch of other memorabilia. its not like i have it tacked up on the wall next to my bed.

I remember the first girl I asked out when I was 12 in 6th grade hahaha. The video was kind of boring though.

i feel like some background music or something would spice the video up. it is a cool concept but i feel like it is kind of awkward/stale to watch.

Wait are the people reciting the notes the ones who wrote them? I thought it was a great concept, nice job.

no i couldn't really get a hold of the original girls. plus they don't live in nyc. i'm hoping to turn this into a little series.

i still have tons of letters that my girlfriend sent me a while back, and some from friends too

i'm usually the one that does the sending though

huh, well we never really had that many long like essays like that but just like little one-sentance maximum notes where i from, but still a pretty interesting video. i just wish that you could like know who everone was a bit better, maybe i'm just stupid, but who was in it and who was just talked about?
